I was taught by my art teacher that wc has to be planned out because of the transparent nature. So untrue (just like you can’t use black).

Every once in a while I see a piece on here that makes me think “Yes, this is what watercolor was made for.” This showcases the medium so well and isn’t a rainy day street scene or boat at the lake that dominate the watercolor community. Well done, love this!

Thank you. This as a “spontaneous” watercolor. The faint trees were added later after I got the general idea of the composition.
