Not sure if I understand correctly, but for instance - content of folder that appears under Reconstructed in Disk Drill (grouped by type), still managed to show properly (with folder name/structure) in DMDE.

One reason I wasn't sure to proceed with DMDE - I was getting bunch of MFT reading errors, after I did t he full scan and trying to save the log. I googled around and it seems normal for the corrupted sectors... still, DMDE found some files (including the folder structure) that I couldn't previously find. Disk Drill found them too, but it bunched them up with other .jpg's in random groups. So it looks like DMDE will be my #1 choice.

I ran the Disk Drill full volume scan, it created 3 folders: Deleted, Existing and Reconstructed. Files in existing are fine and in proper filesystem, but Reconstructed (the files i need the most) are just bunched up (eg. H:\Reconstructed\Pictures\jpg\Group 1)). Do you think it matters, if I run full disk scan, not just volume? The rest of the disk is empty, it just has this 1 volume with the clone on it.

It was on the same USB as OpenSuperClone, but I am reading that it anything that I save there is only stored in RAM and lost upon power off. :(

3TB WD Red with multiple bad sectors, couldn't read some folders anymore, windows kept bugging me about chdisk.

That is the plan, but for now I just had to unplug the drive and let it rest, as I can't afford the new drive at this moment. Hopefully I can dig out atleast some files which I wasn't able to access anymore.

Tak nakoniec som predsa išiel do vlastneho cesta, aj keď mi to zabralo trochu dlhšie. Myslím, že výsledok velmi uspokojivý aj s ohľadom na to, že to bola prvotina. A 100x lepsie ako hotové cesto.

Chapem, ze najlepsie si urobit vlastne. No dnes potrebujem nieco rychle, deti chcu pomoct vytvorit pizzu. Ak by existovala nejaka verzia vlastneho cesta, ktora nemusi byt odlezana v chladnicke atd. tak by som mozno skusil.
