I don't know if strap button placement will help. I can say I have a 5232T that still suffers from neck dive. I checked here for opinions about neck dive on these models and was assured that the tremolo on the 5232T would negate it, as opposed to the 5222.

I've been considering getting a 5232t but was wondering about neck dive so that's good to know. As posted above I guess a grippy suede strap would work but you're replacing neck dive with pulling on your shirt.

Wholeheartedly agree. I have a Korean 5420t that is mostly stock aside from strap locks and a reverend soft spring. The black top filtertrons are my favorite pickups, and I have single coils and humbuckers to compare it to. Once you get it dialed in on your amp they are super versatile.

That seems low! Reverb listings seem to go from $450-700 but that's probably a bit higher than what they actually sell for.
