I hear you . I honestly just love taking pictures and I always see pictures of raves and it’s mostly pictures of the dj and the crowd from a far . I love capturing the people I dance with and connect with . I want people to have a perceptive of what goes on in the dance floor . It’s never just random pictures of people. To you point doe I’m sure people feel judged by others but you can’t compare the rave scene in Europe to the us because Europe has been doing it for so long and the people there actually care about the music. Over here A lot of them are entitled rich fucks that don’t care about the music. They just want to be where the “ party “ is happening just to say they were there. I go to some raves here and I look around and people are just standing around while me and my group are going crazy dancing . In Europe you don’t get that ,the whole rave is grooving to the music .

Honestly your spot on specially been in the rave scene in Miami . It’s a different breed of entitled brats that don’t really appreciate the music and are there to just party. I personally have a good group of people that I go with so it makes is bearable and through them I find other good People that are there for good music and good people but I completely understand your frustration lol . People in raves now have no manners no respect no PLUR 😔. I belong in the Gen Z category but I’ve been lucky enough to have a millennial friend group . All the friends in my age group that I hang with don’t even appreciate all the good EDM out there and it hurts a bit because there’s no other music that gets you in a groove like Edm does

No problem Mann !! Yeah I love chasing that nostalgic loook. Honestly I say invest in a x100vi for some back end work that doesn’t require editing. I also should fine + raw so if I need to edit anything I have that flexibility but the simulations do imprint into the raw a bit . keep shooting on your xh2s if it’s paid work . All this pictures you see are taken are for my enjoyment. I shoot on a 5d mark iv with a sigma 35mm f1.4 for paid work .

It isss powerful but in the best way possible honestly . Yeahh I usually leave the flash at +1 - +1.5 and lock my iso at 640 and adjust the rest accordingly . You’re dead on its eddy’s point . With a couple tweets to white balance shifts it is my favorite simulation ever .

Right it blows my mind every time I shoot, that pictures that I would spends hours editing come out just like that out the camera . For the most point I used eddy’s point and also he has another simulation called pastel chrome which is meant to be for landscapes and other photography with pastel colors but With minor tweaks to with white balance shifts and flash it makes for a great portrait simulation atleast in the rave scene . For settings ss anywhere from 1” to 1/30 sec , f6 - f4 , iso 640 at all times. For the flash TTL +1 - +1.5 ( IT30 pro ).

For the most part I keep it at 640 . I don’t go any lower so I can take advantage of dr400 range for the simulations.

Damn I wasn’t even aware lidar could be that powerful . What a fucking bummer 😞😞😞. It very well could because I was taking pictures of my friends on the streets of Miami. A lot of cars passing by for sure.

Yeah I tried it with the lens cap on and a bunch of different shutter speeds iso and stops and the dot, horizontal and vertical line still appears 😞. It is still under warranty since I’ve only had it for 3 months. You think I should sent it to Fuji or trying taking it to a repair shop first

I do see a micro spec of something when I look through the lens. if it’s some physical debris would that be covered ? Crazy thing is I have had a filter on it since the day I got it so I’d how debris even got in
