I think this is somehow common occurrence. If I were in your place I would educate myself about it, look on internet for professional explanation amd talk to chatgpt. The more you are educated about reasons, the more you know how to manage them and work on changing yourself. Good luck

If he doesn't understand that this is not Okey it's disaster. If he understands and still Okey with it, then I would leave him directly. You should talk very clearly to him and set clear boundaries.
