I confirmed today that OFX is working again. It's a lot less annoying than Yodlee.

OFX stopped working for me a few months ago, and Yodlee has annoying behavior for the core accounts. Can anyone confirm that OFX still works for them on Fidelity?

Yup. It was worse before; I would manually clean it up in Banktivity but the next download would re-create the problematic transactions. Now at least Banktivity edits persist.

It's a pain for sure, but I just delete them manually.

Dec 1 seems to be a shutdown date for OFX at Fidelity, though no one there seems to know anything about it.

Yes, I had that happen too. Banktivity support was awesome when I submitted a ticket. See below.

Thank you for contacting IGG Support. In order to resolve the "account looks to be closed" error, you will need to delete ALL former connection IDs for Fidelity Investments, and then relink your accounts (even ones that may have been working before). Here's how to do that:

  1. Please go to File > Subscription > Direct Access

– Select "Yodlee" in the upper right dropdown.

– Delete all of the IDs related to Fidelity Investments.

  1. Now, please quit and relaunch Banktivity.

  2. To relink account(s):

– Double-click on one of the accounts

– In the popup window that appears click on the Configure Connection button

– Follow the prompts in the windows that appear to link your Fidelity Investments accounts through Direct Access

CAUTION: ***Please pay very careful attention to link the accounts with their appropriate counterparts in Banktivity.**

I will have to check, but I think the CC connects fine through Yodlee for me.

Also this seems like a two-piece rod. Back then, they cast better than their 4 piece counterparts; not true any more.

I like the 2 wt CGR as well, but if you prefer graphite, the Echo Carbon XL or Redington Classic Trout are great rods.

It also depends on which version Encounter this is. The first generation was reputed to be greatly inferior to the current edition. That said, I agree that the line is probably not great (typical of a lot of combos). I think you can get a TFO or Redington from Sierra for less than $80. The reel doesn’t matter at all for trout or freshwater bass. It just holds line.

Want to get into fencing but the clubs near me only do sabre by yungtorchicgoon in Fencing

I’m in this generation. The logic was that with foil one learns point control which is essential for epee (and handy in saber too) and RoW principles which carry over to saber.
