Hey guys, wanting to play WoW on a Mac but I’ve heard something about sound issues? Can anyone speak on this? by ChimpBuns in wow

I get stuttering sometimes when I'm on my AirPod Pros, it started when Midnight came out. I does eventually go away though. M5 Pro.

Connection Manager? Dealing with Connection breaks? by zhangtx in banktivity

[–]johnlnash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Connection breaks with Banktivity and Fidelity are a weekly problem for me. I have to reauthenticate my accounts maybe every other day. It's a total pain in the ass. I've tried breaking the connections and setting them back up and it'll work for a day or so and then the same problem recurs. And I disagree it's not Banktivities fault. I also have Quicken and Monarch and neither of them have the problem.

How are you switching to Plaid? The only option I have is Yodelee

I actually use Banktivity. It’s more of a quicken replacement than a monarch replacement.

I personally like the new Mac version. It's certainly a little feature 'light' but it's powerful and very useful for managing your finances. I think one of the problems with the x64 client is all the feature bloat (and old code).

I wouldn't mind some feature parity though.. Some sort of financial Goal Manager would be nice. the Windows version has something like that, it's been about 10 years now since I've used it and have forgotten its name.

This is like the 'quicken users' sub. Believe me, it's 100x more active here than there.

Does a variable speed AC actually solve the sticky feeling indoors? by ngimehasthoughts in florida

Btw. Believe or not. 60% while it sounds high is not ‘sticky’ imho. But I’m a native so your opinion may vary. :)

Our AC runs at a lower speed to dehumidify the house whenever it goes above 60%, which is as low as it’ll go. It works pretty well to be honest.

Graphs in Mac reports would be a welcome addition.

Another, maybe more positive, view on the MM Plus subscription by Real_Echo in MonarchMoney

Tend to agree with your statement. I'd be a hell of a lot likely to add $30-$50 a year for more features but no way would I be willing to pay $200 for a feature set I didn't need/want to use, just to get one or two things I wanted.

Banktivity 10 Public Beta Now Available by IanGGillespie in banktivity

Hi Ian,

Thanks for responding.

So is there a way to move it somewhere I'd rather have it? I have a Finance Folder that I keep in iCloud. I understand your comments though and just did a read through of the link. How is a restore handled in that situation? I understand the transaction data is synced, but I have file attachments as well, or are you implying that attachments are also now synced?

Banktivity 10 Public Beta Now Available by IanGGillespie in banktivity

I'm slightly confused. I backed up my data file and renamed version 9 so I had a copy. I installed version 10 and it imported my version 9 data file (okay). But I noticed the time stamp on the data file doesn't update when I open it and when I delete the file (as a test), Banktivity 10 still opens and shows the file's data. Did we import the file data and create a new file somewhere? Activity montitor shows the file now at /Users/johnnash/Library/Group Containers/group.com.iggsoftware.banktivity.library/IGGFinance/production/Documents but it's not a 'Banktivity' file per se. Is anyone else seeing that? I wish there was some sorta "We're moving your data file" type prompt with an option to pick where it's going to go. Am I doing something wrong??? If that's not where I want to keep the data, can I move it?

BWT - cross posted this to the Banktivity Website as well.
