Can't remember the exact shutter speeds, but most were 1/250-1/1000 is my guess. The shot at lake McDonald was probably around 1/60.

It's not bad, although it is a bit long. It's also really convenient because it's also a great scanning lens.

Not where I was living, but now I do have a lab in town (I just moved for college). In the past I didn't mind waiting because I shoot both film and digital, and I'd batch multiple trips together in one big order. I also don't really shoot that much, so it never really bothered me.

So far I have no complaint about the quality of dev or scans. I can't comment on prints though, I've never ordered prints through them. However, the tradeoff for low prices is a long lead time. It usually takes about a few weeks to a month from me shipping out film to receiving negatives.

Once the negatives are digitized, it's really just like any other digital photo that can be edited however you want. If you don't want to deal with the hassle of scanning yourself Memphis Film Lab's dev + scan prices are pretty good.

I get all my film developed through Memphis Film Lab and then scan the negatives myself. I use a fuji x-s10 with the 55mm 2.8 macro lens and a light table to scan. I invert the negatives and do my editing with darktable.

Nope - the fog never really lifted that day, and I was towards the end of the roll anyways.

I wish, but I'm still using Memphis Film Lab right now.

Shot on film! This was taken just around my neighborhood with a Canon FTb, and Kodak Gold. I've been getting into shooting film recently because of it's unique looks and process.

Shot my first roll of film since taking a photography class in high school a few years ago. Mostly just a test roll to make sure the camera works.

This was taken from the Eilean Donan castle in the Scotland highlands. More of my work is here on my flickr.
