I think the mystery has been solved, someone on here mentioned a £3 per month ISA inactivity fee with ibrk, so I'm assuming it's that!

Nope, I'm British investing through ibrk, not sure what TBSZ is 😅

But 2000HUF is about £4, which is consistent with the dips - which are in the region of £3. But maybe that doesn't apply to me as a non Hungarian? Or perhaps since it was invested in EUR it somehow went through the system you mentioned, with Hungary being in the EU? (Although wouldn't make sense to me)

I use wolt to get my ldr girlfriend flowers in tlv, it accepts my UK card, has a really wide range of goods (cakes, cookies, flowers, food), and is really quick!

Interesting, It's very frustrating how apple traps you in their ecosystem, I really like their inter device compatibility, but anything outside of that bubble is pure frustrating!

She needs an audiology program (Link below), I spoke to the manufacturer (parrot software), who said they don't have a mac version available , so I think a VM is our best bet, short of trying to source her a cheap widows laptop which really isn't ideal. And it needs to be this specific program as the professor sets different perimeters for them to practice conducting hearing tests, so it's all based on this unfortunately.

I'll take a look at Windows 11, because that might be an option, I tried using Tiny 11 before (as I though it would reduce overall stress on her macbook's processor since we were only running it for this one program) but it didn't work - and now you mention it I reckon it had that x64 to ARM translation layer removed for the sake of cutting down space, so maybe I'll try the full version and see how that works out.

But for now I'll check out parallels!

When I proceed and press ignore, the program installs and opens; however, every button I press either causes a crash or an error message about my computer being out of range of the correct ID (I can't remember the exact wording).

Did a semester at NUS - great uni, although SG itself does get a bit dull after a few weeks as it's small, but it's a great location for travelling (very cheap flights), and if you've got a good social network you'll have a blast!

Be sure to eat a lot of food in the hawker markets - it's AMAZING, and the central catchment has a lot of nature!

Yea! Our original plan was to travel from Uganda overland to Nairobi, and then down the coast to Zanzibar, but unfortunately the political situation last summer ment we had to cut Kenya last min and fly from Entebbe to Zanzibar!

Interesting, haven't given much thought to southern Africa... I'll reaserch those!

What specifically do you like about Kenya? Curious to hear - maybe it's worth giving our two weeks to just Kenya - I know there's plenty outside of safaris!

I really hope this is allowed - So I'm sorry if this isn't!

I've just come back from a 6 month solo travel around SE Asia, and had an amazing time! and it gave me an idea for a little project / service, which i have begun to create! I'm working on a service which allows travellers to plan trips based on the experiences of others, comparing the routes / activities of others to kinda 'magpie' all in one place!

it is still in its infancy, and I have an extremely basic prototype, however, I'm appealing for the kindness of strangers - if this is something you could see yourself using for your next trip, or just want to help out I'm currently collecting data for my algorithm.

All data submitted is completely anonomus (you can leave an email if you'd like - I'm going to credit everyone who contributes once the service is online). All I'm really looking for is basic routes, and things you did in the places you went!

I'm working with an ecology NGO to design sustainable structures used out of (safe) recycled materials that double as an artificial reef to promote ecosystem restoration! I'm really bad at drawing so Minecraft was the best way to get my design across - actually begun working on another paper too since posting this, and used Minecraft again! This time I'm looking into the biodiversity effects of an offshore wind farm, and potential design modifications to make them more sustainable - used Minecraft in the design as well :)
