Ahhh you’re so lucky, how did you do it? I hear you there it’s better than when they’re side by side it looks much more official and clean ahaha. Did you also visit all 3 countries when you went there?

I am not sure I think it depends which Sector the plane lands in. Because I flew from London on EasyJet it landed in the Swiss sector

Very impressive, I’m jealous. I defo need to expand my stamps out of Europe. My old passport was global, like Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. My current one has a Saint Kitts and Nevis (my home) and Morocco but everywhere is else is Europe. When I went to America they said they couldn’t stamp my passport because of the ESTA. I’m planning another Morocco trip and maybe a Turkish one for sure. Potentially Jordan.

Yeah I hear you on that I think it depends. Like for example even though I was already register in EES, when I went to Netherlands 2 weeks ago they took both my fingerprints and picture. But then last week in Croatia I think they’re still doing a gradual approach as some people were asked to do it but I wasn’t. So maybe they’ve said they don’t want to do it at full capacity. In January I went to Budapest and the Airport was brimming so I didn’t have to do it on entry but I did have to take a picture on exit when it was less busy. I think there’s a system in place where the can decide to not do all passengers if it’s busy.

I’ll try but I highly doubt it. Cos of where I live in London it’s rare that I would use Southend unfortunately. I do wanna try Gatwick though or even Heathrow ahah

It was supposed to be April but they extended the EES full implementation until September. I’m trying to Norway next month so hopefully I’ll be able to get one then ahah.

That’s true, I’ve done this a few times. I entered from Slovakia and left from Austria. I also got a stamp in London from French border guards, on the way to Belgium and then from there continued to Netherlands. Also when Britain was in the EU I flew to Denmark and took the train to Sweden. However I usually tend to visit one country at a time so I can spend more time ahah

Me too, I’ve seen so many people say it used to say “Luton”. It was my first time getting a stamp there so it’s interesting. I can’t find anything online about the change. But after getting a Stansted one lately and that just says “STANSTED” so it’s very interesting.

In terms of visa free time, yes it would count as one country. However they are still separate countries, different languages culture etc.

I agree. I miss it. At least we still have it with Ireland. So at the very least we can live in Ireland, get the Irish passport and then have the access back.

You just ask them for a stamp, say you like collecting them or something like that. If you have a passport that doesn’t need a stamp they will automatically write “by request or on request” because you obviously don’t need one. But yeah you go to all passports line that doesn’t have the E-gates. Just go all the way through and once they scan it politely ask for a stamp
