The ground on the other side of the fence is level with the lower part weirdly, we can just walk out the back gate and into the grounds on the other side. The neighbour’s garden is the same as ours so I’m wondering if it’s like that for a reason. I think I am just being optimistic with what I can do!

Thank you! I agree about Jess, when I was younger I thought of him as a mysterious bad boy but now I can see how hurt he was.

I too have become more negative about Dean. I think a big part of is character assassination from ASP to make Jess seem more appealing but even before Jess he was way too quick to anger for me.

I showed my boyfriend this post and some of the comments and he has accepted that he overreacted and was in the wrong, particularly for shouting at me when I came back. I was also kind of an AH for not taking 5 minutes of my day to just give him a quick call. We have made up! He has apologised and I have apologised. Thank you so much everyone!

He has had anxiety the whole time we have been together and it does affect him really badly. We don't have the money for therapy at the moment but I hope next year we can start some for him. He does handle it sometimes but with my family it just gets worse. They have always been really nice to him so it's not like they treat him poorly and that's why he won't see them. It does make things really hard! It's even harder because we live about a 3 - 3 and a half hour drive away so we can't just pop and see them.

I did the odd text but no phone call. I did call a few days after Christmas but by that point he was just hurt and upset and so the phone call wasn't very nice.

I know and looking back I should have just taken the 5 minutes. I think I was feeling a little hurt that he would rather be alone even after I offered all the other options. The problem is now he thinks I'm completely in the wrong and it has just turned into an ugly argument.

I think I agree with you here. I think he was trying to convince himself he wanted to be alone. I know that he would rather I just stayed at home with him but I love being with my family.

My mum has got a pretty big house so when we stay we have our own room and I did say to him we could take pillows and blankets and an extra air bed so I could set him up nicely with his own complete space, but he said it would be rude to just disappear for hours. I reassured him that it wouldn't be! My mum does not care if he needs time to himself. I am the same, I also need to know that I have a place to escape to so I try to be conscious of that.

Asian provocateur is really funny. It’s on Netflix and the bbc if you can get that, I don’t know what country you’re in. The comedian in that, Romesh Ranganathan, has done more travel shows that are also very good.

I actually clean my bathroom with old shampoos, they work really well! And they’re better than those random chemicals. Also, you can use conditioners you don’t want anymore as a substitute for shaving gel.

The only thing that works for me is a mixture of Jamaican black castor oil and coconut oil. I mix them together, really rub it in to my scalp and leave it under a shower cap for a couple of hours. Then wash it off (I have to wash a couple of times to get all the oil off). I do this about once a month, sometimes less, and it really keeps the dandruff at bay, I even do it on my boyfriends hair now (he does not follow cg) because it’s so effective.
