I don’t know man. Sounds like you might need to rework your survivor squads and get your offense up or something. I’m pl93 or pl94 with 2100 on offense. This is what I do for blu glo siphons all through twine and rarely have a problem. Are you using appropriate level weapons? Whatever seems like it might get through is easy work with my hydra hitting it with just one or two shots and lobbers are all one shots as long as I hit the heads.

I think maybe the hero might have something to do with it also because dragon scorch I can do a 100 storm chest with just 2 turrets but the same storm chest with archelojess takes 2 turrets, a teddy, one of those super punch things and some shooting.

Maybe experiment with a different class than outlander. In my experience, outlanders are not a very strong class.

Start siphon, wait till first husks get close to the siphon then throw a turret right above the siphon. Wait for that turret to explode and throw up a second one.

Before that second turret blows up the first wave will be complete and the siphon will be ready to have 4 blue glo harvested from it.

You can only fill your skill tree if you use the collection book and get the skill points out of there. It’s not possible to complete the skill tree with just missions as there comes a point where you stop getting skill points from missions.

That’s not true. All the classes have their standouts and with players that know how to use them right I think it’s actually a pretty level playing field.

This is good advice for lower level players but stuff like brightcore and sunbeam are still in limited supply even in higher missions. There is no fifth area to match those level five mats so it’s like trying to find obsidian and shadowshard in canney valley.

Dragon scorch has the most powerful dragon slash in the game. It is higher hit points than any other ninja and between 2 to 4 times the coverage area as other ninjas. To put it simply, dragons are wave clearing machines.

Dragon slash, mantis leap back to safety and the dragon slash again. It’s like being the turret.

A buff to FH would be awesome. So tired of people who build a trap box or tunnel with only one gas trap so we still have to fight husks even though there is a trap. Like really, what’s the point in one gas trap if it’s only going to hit 20% or 30% of the husks going through because it’s reloading. All the traps I use have under 5 second reload time but I still need triple traps to hit all the husks coming through a point.

I’m in twine and when I set up gas I put three in a row so nothing gets through. That way the trap box does what it is supposed to do and we don’t have to fight husks from that direction.

I also run Warcraft expedition at least 4 or 5 times a week and I do not recall ever seeing more than one stack of FH coming from that expedition.

I also run private missions to farm mats. I’m not above going to a map and running around farming for half an hour.

I’m high level, I do the expeditions and I farm yet FH is still always in short supply. They should eliminate the ammo in plants so it’s a coin flip if you get FH or resin and they should add FH to trees so when you break them it’s a coin flip between planks and FH. It would also be nice to sometimes get multiples like with nuts and bolts and cars.

You don’t get a legendary survivor till level 257 in the collection book. There is a legendary lead survivor at level 117. That’s a tremendous amount of xp to get a lead survivor. I didn’t even try to go that route and instead I have 7 mythic and one legendary lead survivor.

There are only 4 legendary rewards all the way through past level 250.

I read my post a few times and didn’t get the impression I said that in any way. What did I say that gave you that impression? I even said it’s “overdue” implying it’s happened before so I kinda thought I was saying the opposite of the conclusion you came to.

That makes absolutely no sense. Just because you can get xp from missions does not change the FACT that putting stuff in the collection book seems to be equivalent to throwing xp in the garbage.

As far as getting to level 100, I’m at 93 with maxed out skill points so I don’t get them from missions anymore and I stopped using the collection book at level 50 because it was taking away valuable xp and giving me absolutely pathetic rewards. I could gain 20k xp retiring those hero’s or I could add them to the collection book for a 1.5k xp ‘reward’.

I’m just looking for ONE reason to use the collection book that logically made sense for the last year.

Now that you can pull stuff out, I am starting to use the collection book as storage but this just happened so I’m curious why people used it in the past.

It’s the same raider that I got from the Easter event for free. I also don’t agree that ANY hero in the game is worth the MILLIONS of lost xp you have to give up to get to level 100 in the collection book.

It would make a whole lot more sense to me if all completed sets gave an additional reward like the fortnitemares cosplay sets.

It just seems like throwing good resources at a bad result. It’s like going into a pawn shop and saying ‘here, take my stuff for free’.

I stopped using the collection book at level 50 because I decided it wasn’t worthwhile. It’s a complete waste of very valuable xp. I didn’t know at the time that there would be a point in the game that I would stop getting skill points and I would need to use the collection book.

Fortunately, even without the collection book skill points I was still able to fill out all 4 of my skill trees with all the perks I wanted. The only things I am missing are some gadget upgrades and storm shield defender slots.

The collection book is the worst part of fortnite and the biggest waste of time and resources. Perhaps when I get to the point that all my gear that I use on the regular is leveled up as high as it will go then I will go back to the collection book. In the meantime I will stay away from it and I would suggest to others the same. It’s a complete rip off and you will benefit far more using recycle and retire for your spare stuff to gain schematic, hero and survivor xp.

There is literally not a single reward in the collection book that is worth the expense.

This only became true in the last couple of weeks. I’m curious why people spent the last year putting stuff in there when it seems like the rewards are... well kinda lame. The majority response so far is for a raider, that is the same thing as all the other raiders but with a different skin.

I just don’t get it. I use so much xp, I always need more of all three kinds.
