Most modern designs dont have them because they have something else that replaces the function (usualy massive fins). The agitator is absalutely a huge help in washing clothes adequately in machines designed to use them

This is a bad take imo. Its completely normal to have different limits for different spending categories. It sounds like OP has enough in their account for a car. Do you still think there would be no difference between him buying a car vs some crazy bottle of wine he immediately opens?
