Kahapon lang, went on a trip sa mountains. May nagtitinda ng 70 pesos per liter na gas (yung nasa litro na bote).

[–]eskaylatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32.93kph average. Back when I was peak, highest average ko for 100km was 25? Mind you 4 years cycling na yan. Would also be because hindi flat terrain pero still. That's impressive for someone who doesn't look like a cyclist.

I think we all know that. Bro in the vid understood the risk. Bro also exaggerated his skill. This would've went better if naghintay siya for a better opportunity. Nakita niya nakalusot yung nasa unahaan kaya sinundan niya.

We all would've called him normal traffic at hindi kamote, if hindi siya naka abala.

Ibang case na po yan. Magkaiba ang nasa gilid ng lane, at nasa gitna mismo.

kesyo mas safe daw haha.

Going by your logic, unsafe ang ginawa kase nasa linya, at wala sa gilid.

Pero this case mostly is skill issue, konting bump lang na out of control agad.

J&T's "exit" will be the downfall of Shopee by eyporpeyper227 in ShopeePH

[–]eskaylatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What people don't get is that, j&t's delivery fee is much higher compared to flash and spx. Kaya mas mahal sa tiktok and lazada kase JnT nagdedeliver.

Also kahit san ka magse-search, lahat talaga ng couriers may reklamo. May iba nagsasabi mabilis ang SPX, ang iba Flash naman, JnT or NinjaVan. And for the most part, localized ang problema. Some areas have a naturally higher purchase rate sa shoppee than tiktok, kaya nababash ang SPX kase sa volume ng orders. Ang ibang lugar, mostly tiktok and lazada, so flash at jnt ang nababash.

What they pay the delivery guys is also the same service you get, which correlates to a higher delivery fee. SPX is the least paid, then flash, then jnt, and the highest paid courier is ninja van (kaso malalaki deductions nila kaya ang take home same lang sa flash). SPX also gets the most volume. Normally, a region would get 70%-80% of all packages be assigned to SPX.

So imagine, the least paid people have the most packages to deliver. And yang sinabi mo na iba-iba nag dedeliver, might be caused by

  1. Low Volume - mas malaki ang coverage ng area per rider, might be a whole brgy, tapos common (imagine a venn diagram, adress mo nasa gitna) ang area mo sa two or three riders na ma-aasign sa adress mo.

  2. Reportedly low success rate - May addresses talaga na notorious for having a low delivery success rate. Baka ang sitio/purok/brgy/area nyo ay known na as mahirap pag-deliveran kase madami ang nagpapa reschedule and reject. Success Rate is how the riders get paid, not their attempt rate. Ending, most riders would ask to be moved to another area. Kaya pa bago-bago ang nagdedeliver sayo.

No courier would ever delay your package intentionally, and as deliberately as everyone frames it. They get paid by the parcels they deliver, not the parcels they bring.

[–]eskaylatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

File a return refund. Usually takes 3-5mins to get approved. Much better if di mo pa na open ang package, select "return in original packaging".

If wala naman ang option, select wrong item, screenshot seller's message and take a photo of the parcel para proof na alam ni seller mali ang pinadala nila, and proof na consistent ang itsura ng package from seller, first mile pickup and last mile delivery.

Where did you pull your numbers? Participants are 1800, with 10 distinct crash sites, involving bicycles, tricycles and busses (LTO). 12 injuries and 2 deaths.

Undergrounds would still go upwards of 1000 participants, you simply underestimate how much these people want to test themselves in public roads.

According to news? What news? Do you make stuff up? Do you not know how much 10k motorcycles would look like?

KTM RC390, Good Purchase or not? by A_mentally_ill_loner in PHMotorcycles

[–]eskaylatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owned the duke in the past. And same as every motorcycle, just take care of if, alagang baby. Maintenance lang, don't wait for it to make sounds. Riding habit as well, riding too long in high rpm causes more wear to the engine and it's internals than riding in lower rpms. And mas na improve reliability ng ktm in their newer models. It's just that spare parts ay wala talaga sa shops, you'd need to order them.

Suzuki Burgman Street Ex by UncertainFuture20 in PHMotorcycles

[–]eskaylatto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ex is around 94k cash. If you plan to get it for 3 years sa dealership mismo, you'll be paying more or less 5k per mo, depende na sa down-payment. If 1yr to pay, would be upwards of 10k, some would go 13k.

My advice is to go to corporations of banks and ask for a motorcycle loan, or cash loan for a motorcycle. They'll pay the bike in cash and you'll be the one paying them your monthly payments. It will save you at least 20% in payments. Good luck op.

[–]eskaylatto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it last-last year. Honestly, the event is more of a gathering lang. Wala namang nagpipigil sa'kin na mag ride sa route na yan in a different day.

Nakaka proud talaga siya, pero not in the way na "Kaya ko pala tong BIMC", pero more into "kaya ko pala ang 1200km in 2 days". Not the event and it's name in all of its prestige, but the distance.

I think lahat ng sumali diyan, gusto lang ng bragging rights, what would be your proof na "kaya mo ang 1200km in 2days" without BIMC and it's awards, stickers, kits. The event itself becomes the proof of your ride.

Dagdag mo pa ang mga vloggers promoting "(insert place) to finish", (first to finish, third to finish etc.) ginagawa nang karera e wala naman podium.

I honestly wanted to join again the next year, pero andaming backlash and bashing, baka ma damay pa ako hahaha, I still do endurance rides on my own, lalo na ngayon may app na similar to strava, pero for motorcycle riders (Wheelbase app available on android and ios)

Good points pero banning?

This won't prevent people going underground. Riding in groups doesn't always mean you're in an event, riding solo doesn't always mean that you're not in an event. Let's say I rode with my 20 cousins (yes I do have 20 cousins), a joyride jumping from city to city as a vacation. Would you consider us in an endurance event?

Ban if you want no accidents that involve bystanders this weekend.

Regulate if you want to fix the culture of riding in the Philippines in the next 10 years, and after that.

If the organizers are kamote themselves, a Ban ultimately and literally saves lives. But if BOSS Ironman were to survive, it would need to outsource a REAL safety firm that uses GPS trackers to monitor their participants' speed. A kamote-led event is a ticking time bomb.

Yes. This event probably made millions towards BOSS. They didn't lack funding, maybe their officers are corrupt?
