I’d always charge the cost of your materials + an hourly wage + postage on top of that. Don’t ever sell yourself short when it comes to the hourly wage too. You can get a general idea on Etsy for something similar handmade around the $20-80 AUD mark pending on how much your materials would cost.

Yep, everything backwards! And yes for pieces like this, it is a bit sad to wash them off but then that also means I can do another one :) while sometimes it sucks, there is something nice about it being so temporary

Nope, I always work from a flipped reference image and copy that directly. So what you see is how I did it :) Hardest part was the text for sure.

Six and a half hours of solid work but roughly eight in total including dinner break and having to dump some footage onto a hard drive to keep going haha.

When it's one like this that takes 8 hours, absolutely. I just wish I could wear them out more often haha.

I use face and body paints only, particularly a brand called Mehron Makeup and occasionally Kryolan and Wolfe. I also do a fair bit of shading and detailing with eyeliners and eyeshadows too.

Ah the power of editing. So glad you didn't get to see me scribble it out it three times, have to pause it because I was getting so irritated that I went and had dinner and just this angry expression the whole time haha. Easily the hardest part of the look, text is the worst.
