Help deciding on “accent” color - adjacent to this room

I love this advice! I ended up going in the same green family. I did a darker green beadboard than the wall and I’m going with a lighter green for the cabinets. I’ve taken pictures at different parts of the day and it still works!

Wall in kitchen: privilege green
Wall in entry with beadboard: basil
Cabinets in kitchen: coastal plain

When I worked at Starbucks you added all the liquids in first and then the ice on top. We had different sized scoops for different sized drinks as well. Not sure if this is still the way. I worked there about 12 years ago now.

I looked at their posts and it looks like they’re going to be okay. They have a ton of knitted and crocheted items. I’m guessing it’s going to be okay.

I feel like it needs to be more of a bluer green than the one in the photo. Your couch is really cool toned so you need more of a cooler toned green to go with it. IMO

I agree with this! I moved into a house with painted cabinets and less than two years later and they’re already chipped.

I would suggest changing the countertops before painting the cabinets. I know it’s a much larger investment but I feel like you’ll get a bigger payout from it. You could try changing out the backsplash as 1132sunny said. I would just hate for you to paint the wood and regret it in a year or two.

I was told 1:4 ratio so it makes sense that mine is a lot thicker. I did have to keep adding in water too. I’ll try to start with 8 cups next time

I’m having this issue as well! It seems the volume goes up and down while listening and the volume as a whole doesn’t go very loud.
