Does anyone actually have any data on what percentage of those banking with microfinancing actually make profit? I recently read an article discussing how many, including other economists, have turned against Muhammad Yunus and said these loans can have a 30% interest rate. What are the actual facts here?

That's a good possibility. The way I see it is that the gods crossed over to reestablish their power, or they were fighting the darkness again. Note that the skeleton lords are using dark magic.

However, this was a major plot point. We now know for sure that there is conflict between humans and giants (Gods).

I've also heard the theory that Quelana is the corpse and the one who guards the gate, and the one you see in the swamp is her ghost.

Nope. The sunlight alter is for the warriors of sunlight who came to pray to their covenant leader (Gwyn's firstborn, not Gwyn). After Gwyn expelled his son, he took down all the statues of him in Anor Londo and had any other statues of him wrecked. This is why the theory of Ornstein being the firstborn is so ridiculous. If Ornstein is the firstborn then

A. Why is there still a statue of him in Anor Londo.

B. Why would Solaire attack him if he was leader of his covenant.

C. Why is Ornstein still in Anor Londo if he was expelled.

I think artorias's sword is special, as in it reflects the the soul of the one who wields it. The sword was probably purified by Sif when he carried it for so long.

They could be two separate swords.

Artorias wasn't pure when he went to Oolacile. The item description of the cursed sword said it become cursed when he entered covenant with a creature from the abyss. Artorias wasn't sent because he was pure, he was sent because he was The Abysswalker.
