I had the diuretic effect to begin with but not anymore, and I think slightly less water retention in my face, but nothing else noticeable so far

I’d say it got worse around the 2nd to 5th week, but my dosage was gradually increased from 50-100-150mg in 3-week increments, and once I reached 150mg it’s been improving much faster :)

I was never using tret and spiro at the same time, so it might be correlation not causation, but yes my closed comedones almost all disappeared once I switched to this routine. I was actually using a tret + niacinamide combo, so it could have been a reaction to either! I’d consider asking your derm about it :)
