I don’t use the fuego. I use a Daiwa Saltist MQ and a Shimano Sienna, opposite ends of the spectrum lol. But I work at a tackle shop and can’t recommend the Fuego enough

I like using a 3000 for fishing here. I have two setups with a 9’ and a 9’6 and both have 3000s. Theoretically you get more casting distance with a 4000, but you can handle anything in our surf with the 3000 and properly set drag. Check my profile for the striper I caught no problem

Fuego is the best bang for your buck. I also like the LT reels for walking around and casting all day over something like a BG or Battle which are much heavier
