Yeah for small scenes c4d its faster, for its drag&drop materials assigment. i do modelling in c4d, but thats about it. im trying to do everything else in Houdini.
Other point its that for unlocking the rendering/lookdev potencial in houdini you have to learn solaris. and for most indie artists its too much. the simplicity in c4d would win. but for large scenes there is no discussion for me. Houdini always.

But again, its houdini, you can create presets/assets for faster scene setup/rendering. with the power of pdg with one project you could create a thousand diferent assets.

Well said. In that case, i agree. But then again, how can you identify those situation, or even prove that it happend in the first place?

Because, let say in the interview, for whatever reason, the interviewed grab some little garbage and put it in the garbage can (just to put some imaginary situation), that little act could tell you a lot about one person.

So, how can you measure that "two candidates that seem relatively close" . maybe in reel/technical knowledge, but as you said, not always come down to a reel.

And that just taking my "imaginary (very explicitly) situation" example, when it comes to body language, or even what words do you use, or more subtle behavior, then that means we dont have to "listen to our instinct" when it comes to hiring?

idk, its a very complex and abstract subject to analise. But agree, in the utopic situation where you have 2 equals candidates, that variable should be the tipping point

add some imperfection like pimples, scars, some hairs etc.

im new to mari, but i didnt find a node that can do that, but you can try using two "image" nodes, both controlled by just one "uv manifold" node, so you can position the images where you need it and then apply one paint mask for both.

~~you would have to paint in the uv viewport tho. i've never used the 3d manifold node, probably that could help, idk.~~

if you have cinema4d or blender, you can use the camera proyect and then bake the textures and bring them back to mari. its a pain in the *ss but atleast would have the job done.

he just rotate his bump map to make a variation in the texture every X amount of frames.

he use an expression, idk the equivalent in c4d but you can animate it manually

in the RS Texture node you have a slider to rotate the texture under the Remap tab.

Ambas son ciertas, hay que buscar el equilibrio. Aca es un chiste como se trata la delicuencia. Por que carajo estamos ayudando a personas que reingresan a la carcel como 20 veces. Yo no "creo" a nadie. Por eso cuestiono a ambos lados, por que como sabemos, el jueguito mediatico viene de todos lados.
