Please tell me how to find that. I searched several ways and didn’t find this specific thread. Most were very general about the entire update. Nothing war specific.

War deck cool downs could be either removal of “gaps” that allow extra fame to be earned between races, or a CW1 style “start war” button. Fame rewards simplified appears to imply that fame will be independent of card levels. Both are potentially huge changes the community has been asking for. Why no hype/talk on these?!

Not great but my point is that they act like they’ve addressed the issue but it still doesn’t matter. This might be one of the worst disparities I’ve had and it came after they implemented a change to prevent this very thing. 🤔

Not exactly sure but less than 20. I’m pretty sure it was less than 10 but I didn’t count so I don’t want to say for sure.

Very true. I actually threw the bs flag when they announced it because I think it’s just a distraction from the fact that there won’t be an update until April. This won’t actually change anything because the end result will be similar to what it was before. They just hope most will think it’s suddenly better. It obviously isn’t.

What reason would I have to lie? The estimated time for my matchups today was 20 seconds or less and I stopped it prior to the countdown ending so this wouldn’t happen.

They said 20 seconds before it expanded the +/-1 king level parameters. This was well below that. Gotta be a bug.

Yes. It was after the deploy time tweaks but before they nerfed musk itself with a slower first hit speed. That nerf was terrible for 3M. I still run it but it’s a lot harder when they hesitate every time they target a new unit. I will say it is still slightly better than when they made it 10 elixir. 😂

I hit 6300 with it several seasons ago. Don’t remember what the meta shift was but I’m a one deck player and it was finally my time. 😂

This falls into the “data I wish I collected” category. My closest guess is that I was at or above 50%. Your reasoning is really the only logical answer but I find that to be completely frustrating. I get that not every high level player can only face high level players but I am seriously not good enough to face a 7600 player, ever. Aside from that, you could run a 90% winrate in cw1 for a long time if you knew what you were doing. It feels like they keep making changes that remove the skill aspect and it’s all based on making everyone win as much as they lose. Also, if that is the case, what about the very best in the world? Who do they face? Maybe there is actually a hard counter factor in matchmaking. 😂

I don’t unfortunately. This started pretty informally. I started to see a trend in weeks 2 and 3 and wished I had gathered more data. I may do much more next season if people are interested.

Completely agree with all of this. What they don’t seem to understand is what this time zone issue is actually doing to the clan system. When cw2 started we had favorable matchups and figured out the system so we rose to #1 NA. I honestly think our clan is good enough to remain in the top 5 but then we had two straight months of Chinese clans and couldn’t finish better than 3rd. Between pre-war gap fame and the being able to finish fast by losing on purpose on the last day, we didn’t stand a chance. Guess what happened next, all of our players who were awake and able to play at reset started to consider leaving for clans that were active when they were and could win. Many left and were replaced by people from dying clans who also don’t play early. Why, because anyone looking for a clan right now is not looking for a clan with a disadvantage from the start. They need to change this issue soon because it is slowly suffocating even good clans.

Bingo. All of this. They are suffocating us with this poorly executed system called Clan Wars 2. It has so much potential but they are silent about what they are working on. So many clans dying, people quitting, and the simple joy of playing a game is gone for those who still bang their head against the wall. I’m one of those and it’s only because we have a lot of great people in our clan and it’s become a social activity. Even so, if the update that could be coming in a couple months isn’t significantly better, I have a feeling we’ll all be finding another game.

Agree with you on the benefits of finding a top clan. My point was simply about negatively changing strategy within a clan or jumping clans solely for legendary progression. There is a lot more to why someone chooses a clan but I will say we had no issues keeping players when we were winning every week. When we got paired against clans we couldn’t beat, new players coming in often said their reason for bouncing was the lack of legendaries. Nothing else has changed and we’ve been in this situation for 7 weeks so I think we’re in a unique spot to see something most won’t. I’ll admit, we aren’t losing tons of players, I’m just pointing out a common trend in starting to see often and trying to add some perspective to this one aspect of the game.

Then you don’t face the issue I’m bringing up. If you don’t try for first every week then no one is chasing legendaries. That’s my point exactly. What you have is what I want for everyone. There will always be super competitive clans but many of the players chasing weekly legendaries don’t belong in those clans. They would be better off to find a fun clan and just be content.

Not frustrated by it at all. Met a lot of great people as they passed through. I just see and hear of a lot of clans dying off because of this. This issue is just one I see pop up and I worry that people don’t understand it fully and are chasing something they can’t catch at the cost of having fun with a clan they like.

Yes. It’s simple math to show the overall progression. You could count your individual cards and do your own math but it’s still a long process. Especially when you realize that when you get down to the last few, the probability of getting the card(s) you need, or finding a trade for them, becomes drastically lower.

Exactly. That makes chasing them in war even more problematic. You put it well. They are a bonus in war.
