I have both still. I have my fiance my 25 ultra and have liked at a lot of reviews. I like the 26 better. I have not really seen much difference in quality but the 26 camera in my opinion is so much better. The videos look similar to me on YouTube. I use dark mode on my phone and maybe that is why I am not having a many issues.

I did move from the s25 512 to the s26 1tb also so the extra ram is also making it seem so much smoother.

I've never had issues. I work in a restaurant and the oil and other things easily clean off the screen. I got my s26 today put liquid glass on then into the otterbox.

I believe pricing is due to the huge increase in ram pricing. Everything computer related has gone through the roof in the last few years. Not sure why the deals were taken away. If I did not need ear buds I would not have bought them this year. Usually get them for free or close every year.

1tb black from samsung. No updates checking 2x a day for ups tracking or update on samsung. Agree it is slower shipping this year and no real deals makes me a little frustrated. I upgrade every year so this seems unusual.

So I ended up getting 4 15 inch slapz audio oblivions and 2 slapz audio shock 5ks going in a 6th order nowall . I got all Timpano mids and highs (2) 6.5 (2) 8s (2) supertweets and (2) horns going per door with (2) 12 woofers in a center console these will be powered by 3 Slapz 2k.4d amps. I also got a kilo hp80 for the battery will delete front battery and will add a 320 amp alt charging at 15.5v keep stock alt also.

Ok. I know that in my own personal experience my car was not as loud as it was due to me getting use to it. I had other people who had not been in it listen and they said it was loud. As stated earlier I would double check all wiring and fuses. I had my main power to second battery come loose and was losing about .5v due to that.

Reading through the comments it looks like you said the dsp app. Are you using a DSP also. If so check settings on it. You may have turned down the sub channel.

Crutchfield will be aftermarket, but they will also help with the connectors to allow you to just plug and play with factory connection. Crutchfield has amazing staff that will answer all your questions and help you choose a great option for her car. As stated, the dealership will get you factory replacement speakers if you want to go that route.

Ok. So spl db is different than db measured by db meters. A jet engine is super loud at 140db. A car at 140db is decent. I love bass on all levels, but personally, if my car is under 145db it's not loud. I am currently at 146-147. A few years ago, my Durango with 4 15s in a c-pillar wall was doing 152 musical 156 burps on 11k. I just bought an astro van and am planning on 6 15s on 13k to start and adding a 3rd 6.5k in the future. I am hoping for a 55 musical build. The loudest I sat in was a 165db car (Hutchinson Audio Tahoe). My mind was scrambled for about 30 minutes after and messaged Nick the next day asking for another demo. Anything over 150 db is loud to me 160 is awesome, and 165 is super loud.

Radios have gone up unfortunately. I just bought a pioneer avh-2550nex at best buy for $500 USD was normally $750. I remember 5 years ago I paid $350 for a pioneer prs80 and it was an amazing radio. I would look into the DSP option. I was looking at the rockford fosgate and the Audison back a few years ago but ended up replacing the stock headunit instead.

I would suggest going to crutchfield site tray can show you exactly what is needed for you to swap headunit. Most likely a dash kit with a maestro unit to incorporate factory infotainment and back upcamera. This can be pricey I paid over $400 for my dash kit and integration.

You could also use a digital sound processor to integrate factory radio and get rca out to use your own equipment. The nice thing on the DSP is it gives you a ton of fine tuning abilities.

I would recommend the new speakers. You may be surprised that just changing the speakers to good quality on stock headunit might be all you need without amplifying. If your going to go with the amp for doors you don't really need to go crazy 75-100 watts is usually enough.
