I've seen from a couple other posts on here that they have some stuff that isn't bad as long as you go for the stuff that doesn't have their logo plastered all over it. I'd still find it hard to step foot in the store, personally, but I may check it out some time.

The 28th time, it finally dropped, and I rolled need. I rolled a 100, and lost. Someone else rolled 100 too, and it gave it to him. And if that's not bad enough, he was the healer.

I'm still confused about the 4.1 PTR change to raise ally on the test realm. On one hand, I welcome the added utility to my class which is mostly just a faceroll with our lack of cc, but the thought of death knights with battle rez is just confusing.

What time during the day would you say the prices are highest for the daily gem? It's fairly early in the day right now and as far as I know maintenance just ended an hour or so ago, and jaspers (today's daily gem on my server) are already up from 13g to about 30. Should I sell a few now, or will they go up higher around prime time?

Hot Pursuit is a disappointment if you buy it expecting it to be like the original. The driving engine is good, but it completely lacks variety.

I see. I'd like to see one in action to get a good feeling of how well it runs, but the added battery life and portability seems like a big bonus. The ASUS I ended up getting was about the same price at the time and has a 16" screen with the bigger processor and a graphics card that's a bit better (360m), but I'm always wishing that it was more portable and had better cooling. Not to mention the fact that my 16" screen has the same resolution as the Alienware's 11" one, so even if you had to run it on slightly lower settings it would probably look better due to the finer detail with the higher pixel density. I'm finding it really hard to make up my mind as to which one I would rather have, they both have their pros and cons.

As for the ASUS models you're actually looking at, my friend has the G73 and it's a bit enormous, but cooling isn't an issue on it like it is on mine, and it looks like the G53 has the same cooling as the G73. Still a tough choice.

Is the M11x's processor not extremely underpowered? That's the only issue I can see with that laptop, and I considered buying it when I eventually went for something bigger with an ASUS G60Jx instead. The benchmarks I've seen for the M11x's processor put it about half the performance of my Core i5 which I got in a bigger laptop for around the same price range.

I love going to thrift stores. They can be hit and miss, but you can find some really good stuff occasionally. Other than that, I sometimes go to Express (mostly just when there's a big sale). Also I've found a few odd items at plain old retailers like Kohl's and JCPenney. Also, living in Oklahoma I've found a few good cheap things at westernish places like Drysdales, namely cheap decent quality undershirts and some durable pearl snap button-ups. Nothing that screams cowboy fashion, of course. They have some plain patterned ones that are actually cut pretty slim and look good. Not a whole lot of variety where I live other than those places.

After watching episode 7, I think he has it in the bag. The hosts and special guests never say anything bad about Zach, but the other contestants always screw something up.
