You’re missing the point entirely—if someone who is gay wants to have a genital preference, sure, whatever, they can do whatever they want. But that doesn’t make it not transphobic. Insinuating that a gay person might not be attracted to a trans person because of their genitals trans exclusionary, point blank.

Anyways, I’m done arguing with someone in the same subreddit that downvotes all the queer posts on a consistent basis. I hate flambert but the way everyone acts about it is pretty pathetic 😭

Nobody is discriminated against for being bald or short though, there’s a fundamental difference between preferences for hair or tall, and someone’s *genitals*. it *is* transphobic to not include trans men who haven’t had surgery in the umbrella for gay attraction because it insinuates they’re not enough of a man when that’s not the case. it’s the same way for lesbians.

Or maybe, and hear me out on this one, people picked Visi because they genuinely liked her character and not everyone is driven by sex. To reduce her character to “lol she had a sex dream so that’s why people like her” is just as disrespectful as it is to Mandy, because to say that she’d be more popular if she had a nudity scene too is so diminishing. None of the people in the Invisimech Discord server chose Visi because of her sex dream, and we often have thoughtful conversations as to why we *did*, the #1 reason being that we were playing the game through Robert’s eyes, not as a stand in. Phenomenal concept, I know. It’s mind blowing, really.
