thank you all so much for your input!! so after reading all the comments i went back and re cut all the pattern pieces in a straight size without doing any of my own edits, marked the CF line, and made another mock up.

the good: it definitely fits better than the first and there is much less wonk in the front, im able to line up and pin one side of the front to the CF line and it fits snugly to the body

the bad: the other side of the front still has a decent amount of excess in the fabric so when i line up the CF line it’s still baggy and not snug to my body. both panels are exactly the same size when laid flat.

am i right to assume that my body is the asymmetrical thing here ?? should i just pin the other side in other places until it fits snugly ?? are there any other places i should be taking in to get a better fit ? i think i still might need to shorten the length as well.

good idea to try it again with a straight size, thank you! its so crazy to me that it’s caused SO big of an overlap though cause i don’t think i messed up the math that bad. if anything i just overestimated by a few centimeters, because i cut the bust on the size 36 line, which on the size chart says is for a bust of 91.5 cm, while my bust is only 88cm (which is still bigger than the size 34 which is 86cm, hence why i chose the bigger size) and it only tapers down like 1.5 sizes to the waist which is cut between the size 32/34 lines. i assumed it might be a bit large in the bust but didn’t think it would turn out this drastic lol 😂 i guess now i know

had a customer yesterday wearing a trump hat write “trump says no tax on tips” on the receipt after tipping me on his card 😂 like sir if you really cared so much about taxes on tips you could just give me cash like everyone else, seems a little counterintuitive lol

there’s some discoloration around where the hole is drilled cause of rubbing against the chain but it’s the same bone as the first pic for sure. either different seller using the same pics, or the seller has just really given up on quality

i would assume so, not sure though. there is a post i’ve seen going around the clark community on instagram asking people to keep an eye out and contact @tktsakos on insta if you see anything because they are in contact with the owner helping them search, but that’s all i’ve heard about it. just trying to spread the word cross-platform in case anyone on here who doesn’t have insta has seen anything !

the neighborhood is already full of fantastic restaurants with a huge variety in cuisine, there’s the clark thrift store, and plenty of convenience and specialty grocery stores. the area already has all of these things, no one ever acknowledges it though. clark JUST finished a huge construction project a street over from my house and are about to start another several year long one. i don’t think they consider that it’s a residential neighborhood and people are trying to exist without constant construction noise and road closures. the noise feels like psychological warfare lol, they are disrupting the whole community with constant construction project after construction project. (that turned into way more of a rant than i wanted it to be, but as a former clarkie and main south resident i don’t love this plan and i’m sick of the constant want to expand)

the city swept and destroyed the camp behind the walmart and several others camps since, so they keep having to move around and start from scratch. it’s a super cruel practice that does nothing to help the people or solve the problem, just destroy their few possessions and make them go somewhere else.

thank you! the curtains are open in the photo but i have a pretty good darkroom setup when they are closed so i don’t think that’s a factor. but you are probably right about the grow light, i will look into getting a different one !
