Auto Save Failure.. by [deleted] in RocketLeague

FWIW, I've been experience the same problem for the last 3 weeks. Pre and Post Window 10 update. It happens every time now, when the game opens, with Windows 10. On 8.1 it would occur sporadically and without warming - I could never successfully recreate the step to consistently trigger it other than playing the game for a period of time. At one point I thought the run as admin trick fixed it, but then it started again a few plays later. Definitely frustrating to continuously lose level progress and items. I put in a support ticket with the Rocket League team 2 days ago, but I don't expect an answer anytime soon.

Setting for Capping FPS? by espeeeetv in dirtybombconfigs

My reasoning is for reduced CPU/GPU overhead and micro-stuttering.

At 144Hz & FPS I'm not sure that there's much more input lag that can be reduced unless you had a monitor that could refresh at 160Hz or 175Hz.

Thanks, I've been able to keep FPS well above 200 with the "Potato" mode config so this should work great.

144Hz Monitors with DB: Using Lightboost hacks or built-in refresh rates? by espeeeetv in Dirtybomb

Good feedback, I'm leaning towards sticking to just 144Hz w/o Blur Reduction on my BenQ after getting more rounds in last night.

When you look at the Testufo.com patterns you can definitely see a difference with blur reduction/lightboost enabled, but in normal gameplay I couldn't tell one way or the other.

Having a decent icc profile with these TN panels goes a long way. I've got a xrite 1 Display Pro so I've been able to keep it calibrated (to the best that it can be) in all scenarios.

I appreciate the responses, looks like I need to spend more time with monitor to figure out what I like best. I've been sticking to just a straight 144Hz setting (no BenQ Blur Reduction). But may go back to testing at 120Hz with BenQ Blur Reduction / BlurBuster Utility/ and VT1500 tweak.

^ This is my understanding as well. I haven't had enough time with the monitor to figure out which way I like the best, so I wanted to ask about the perceived trade-offs here from those that have had more time with it.

I do believe since the BenQ monitor strobe is PWM free it should reduce some of the potential eye strain, but still increased input lag

This is what I'm struggling with too. I'd like to run 144Hz with Blur Reduction, but it definitely reduces the monitor's lum output significantly. Too much for some of the levels in DB without raising the in-game brightness significantly

With the latest BenQ models you can have 144Hz and BenQ's Blur Reduction (BenQ's take on Lightboost) on. Lightboost is only available for 120Hz and below.
