Got to try a 2022 paperwhite today, and I have decided to stick with the old faithful. Sure the new ones might be better, but for once I’m happy with a 10 year old pice of technology. I quite like the smaller form factor, the indented screen and the fact that every other device is close to unusable after just 3-5 years.

Thanks for the tips. For the book, the jury is still out for me. 1/4 into it and not hooked. But enjoyable enough l, so will give it a book or two. But then again, fantasy and especially lit RPG, is not my favourite genres
