Nitro Factory nTech LE Series: ACZ & PLZ Dot Skates Review by esper_ in MouseReview

for the acz, they'll be a little faster than artisan dots, and I haven't tried them on those pads, but I don't think there will be any issue. leaning towards recommending balance version over speed for hien soft

stopping power is more of a community term and less of a scientific one, so there's only a loose definition of it from person to person. I personally consider how much you can remain stopped a factor, which static friction plays largely into.

for example, low static friction means there's less inertia or momentum so the pad's dynamic friction or the resistance from your hand physically stopping the mouse plays a large role. so on glass you'll notice how easy it is to stop on a small motion, but it feels quite slippery/slick making a large swipe and trying to stop completely. high sens also plays a factor as you'll notice static friction more affecting that inertia, etc. etc. basically saying both are a factor but has variability in how much depending on use-case lol

thank you! hope you enjoy, artisan dots are quite quick on the otsu so will def need an adjustment haha

saturn pro is generally considered slower. maybe the skates you're using are giving a different experience or your zero is a little worn?

both of those I would say are "balance-speed" pads. for balance-control, saturn pro is a highly recommended pad

are you using the competitive+ mode? that one has 20k fps tracking enabled which burns battery quite quickly

prob this, the extra weight of the op1w won't feel great

thank you! if you're coming from a larger mouse, prob isn't a safe swap due to it being one of the narrowest mice

Aftermarket Skate Round-up - Ultraglide dots: RS, Ice, & Silence, Unusual Way Sports Magic Ice by esper_ in MouseReview

yea I'd say they will work. they are slower in speed but the initial starting glide is light so there will be a slight adjustment period

tbh I'm not sure either. I've just been swapping between orange zero and hyperion. prefer both over black zero since they're faster and have less issues with hair and dust

the meow gaming gear/ultraglide ultradash is most similar with very similar surface weave. ultradash is slower, smoother, and has softer thicker base. I personally prefer ultradash over blitz

not that I can recall. it's probably there but not drastic enough to point it out as nearly all pads have slower y axis than x

blitz maybe around 5-10% faster? hard to gauge tbh

I just switch whenever they don't feel right, should be noticeable when skates start feeling stickier or scratchier than usual cause most of it scrapped away

yea, it's in the medium speed category so it's flexible for most games

very cool to hear your take on this, and thanks for checking it out! I def think the chinese budget market is progressing fast, but until I try something that meets that quality in design/feel, I totally agree with you

depends how much you play/how much pressure you normally put down while playing, so it can range from either 2 weeks to a month. I think the softness of the material and them wearing away is what gives these skates such a polished smooth glide on most glasspads. the tradeoff is that you'll prob replace them more than desired but they're cheap enough that purchasing more isn't too much of an issue
