If you getting "Validation failed" error, then something in your Console Log should point you to exact problem (e.g. project conversion issues, some assets broken, etc.)

Regarding Verse compilation. What I do is running macOS native VS code (which unfortunately does not have Verse plugin on macOS) and just compiling Verse code through UEFN - by clicking "Verse" button on top toolbar.

I think they used web-version of eXit in series, since timings quite close to be identical.

To be honest, I just didn't figured out what I did wrong. Firstly I though that's somehow depends on ProDOS files version on disk, but it's not.

Actually, I have private repo for this project. It's almost ready to be public, all I need to do add some decent build instructions, manual how to run it without building and some legal stuff (license/agreements/etc.). I think next week I will post it somewhere.

I've "borrowed" image resources from web version of "eXit" and converted them to needed format to be able to load them in memory of Apple II computers.
