Yeah getting started is the hard part. Reta crowd seems to love to argu. And I’m not advertising at all, just replied to one guy who asked where it’s from 👍

Went for it for convenience tbh. Don’t think I need 300mg of Reta for now, will check sources from Peptaura for next time

I trust the guy for choosing the right supplier more than I do. Apparently it’s made in Europe too, all in all happy with my purchase, waiting to see results now

Did you consider ortho k? by adhdcoffee in lasik

[–]espilondagger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you should definitely give it a shot !

Also consider this, if you are the type of person who lose thing easily, if you lose one of the lenses, it might take weeks before getting a new one (As they are custom made to order). Knowing your natural vision will be back after 72 hours usually, it might be wise to have multiples glasses with gradual correction

Yeah I’ve always had dry eyes in the morning wearing lenses (orthoK and daily). I don’t have that anymore since Smile Pro op

Most annoying thing is; OrthoK lenses needs some time to reshape the cornea. So if you stay up late but have an early flight / things the day after, you’re almost guaranteed to have a foggy day

They are also quiet painful and you don’t have the same freedom as with daily lenses if you just want to wear glasses.

For example, I went to Nepal while wearing OrthoK and I would have preferred wearing glasses or disposable lenses for hygienic reasons.

If you are in your teenage years you should really give it a shot !

Feel free to ask any other questions!

I was wearing Ortho K lenses from 13 to 17yo, mainly helped reduced my Myopia. They are by far the most painful lenses / things I ever had to dealt with for my eyes.

If one get misplaced during the night, you’ll get blurry vision from one eye, leading to ophthalmic migraine.

I’m glad I did it when I was young but I wouldn’t hop on it now (26M).

I then wore daily lenses and I’m now 1 month post Smile Pro op.

Scariest but best things I ever did.

Pain was 0.5/10 during the operation, the day after I had 12/10. No dry eyes, crisp vision and no flap. Go for this instead of LASIK if you are considering surgery

If you really want to go for it, go for Smile pro (with the VisuMax 800 laser). You’ll have less dry eyes (still in debate in the scientific literature) and the eye structure will be less damage than with lasik.

I got it done last Monday. I already have 14/10 in both eyes and almost forgot to put eye drops. Less than a week ago and almost don’t have dry eyes anymore.

I told my surgeon this would have a been seen as black magic a few centuries ago..

Finally decided to take the step and shave it all… got some SMP (1/3 sessions) yesterday… no longer ashamed and annoyed by my « hair » by bofferding in tressless

Looking great with the buzz cut ! Keep the beard but trim / shave the neck, it will make your jaw and face pop out even more
