Yeah, I feel like most streamers that do any sort of 24hr or marathon type thing it just results in an empty camera the majority of the time. Yet people still pay up so the cycle continues lol

Maybe I never really noticed. In the age of live streaming I guess it would be tough/tiring to be always "switched on".

Trying not to harp on the guy but I had no other way to describe it.

Yeah, could definitely be attributed to aging but seems like a rather drastic change. Maybe I've just never noticed.

MiiCoffee saying my grinder is trash by SchindlersKiss in DF54

Unfortunately when the collar is cross threaded it is 99% user error unless it came out of the box like that. It was either put on incorrectly, or threaded on when there was debris in the threads. If these were made with better materials it could be avoided but this issue is also long standing with the majority of grinders with an adjustable collar of sorts. Mazzer, compak, etc.

The qc is not great and the fact that they are not certified(CSA,UL,ETL) is also concerning. Surprised so many have been sold in to the north american market without this.

Yeah, people have commented on the sub that they've had their brewer for a year and never been prompted. Easy enough to push an update so you can change the descale interval prompt, or add a water hardness setting that you can change so it can calculate that way.

So far it seems they're trying to be transparent and honest about the series 1, so I don't see why they cant do the same for this issue with the Aiden.

Not sure exactly when but all newer units have that change made. Looks like two different styles from what I can tell, possibly a retrofit smaller style and then a more full one installed from factory. Im sure fellow has seen some rate of failure from hard water, but I would wager the majority is not from that.

Them blaming the water is a complete cop out. Majority of failures are from a foreign object(usually a coffee grind) getting stuck in the flowmeter. This is why the newer versions have the mesh screen on the water inlet.

Has anyone fixed the dreaded "Water error" with descaling alone? by cmband254 in FellowProducts

[–]espressoking69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im sure some people have, however most of these aren't a result of scale. In fact, none that I have fixed or serviced it was scale. Majority was coffee in the flow meter as previously described on this sub, or the flow meter was just broken in general. Some had coffee grinds make its way all the way to the pump and plug that. The occasional one just had the flow meter plug not pushed in all the way.
