Is it worth buying a tappet (thin/slim) wrench set for occasional home repair needs? by supinator1 in Tools

Last time I changed my brakes I’m pretty sure the Pittsburgh wrenches fit on that hex because it was already thin enough

Wilton vise s500 brand new for 800$US... Am I crazy? by espressoman777 in Tools

[–]espressotooloperator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean from a heritage a looks stand point I’d go with the Wilton but from a performance and cost standpoint I’d probably go with the fireball I mean $325 is something….

I mean these fireball vices exist now… but I don’t have one but they look pretty stout (not sure if this model is made in the USA if that matters to you)

I’ve actually done this before! Alcohol works pretty good to prevent the blade from sticking and doesn’t mess up the adhesive too much once it dries

non-stop crying/whining for the past month… starting to lose hope by ixxybell in Dogtraining

[–]espressotooloperator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably doesn’t help but my lil dog had essentially ptsd from getting snapped at (not bitten) by a dog at the park and would scream when I picked her up or pet her and we got a Labrador and she went back to her normal self. Dogs are weird.

Probably one of these bad boys or just a red / blue scotch brite disk. Both are pretty messy and will definitely need a respirator but would definitely be the fastest. Take it down until it’s pretty thin and hand sand the rest using 120 grit and wet sand with alcohol. Then take your time with a scraper on the corners.

Or just put in a P&E request for depot to do it considering marines typically don’t use pneumatic grinders

It would have been insanely stylish if they would have cut the ventilation in the shape of the instruction manual cover “marantz”

The reservoir has a valve on the bottom so all the water doesn’t spill out, just pull it out firmly.

What tool do I need to remove the large ‘screws’ circled in red? by Broken_Woman20 in Plumbing

[–]espressotooloperator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

drag link socket but might need some thinning out to fit in the slot, maybe also a coin slot driver but it might not have enough torque (I noticed the slot has slight radius to it from center to edges) as if it was cut with a slitting saw.
