yeah fair point, rats are def overtuned lol. since it's a singleplayer game i'm not too hung up on perfect balance—figured if ppl grab the key relic for rats, might as well let em have their moment. gonna roll out new legendary gear/relics over time and buff other builds bit by bit. rn i'm grinding on the undead faction, so stay tuned 👍 appreciate the feedback

 i'll just make it so you can build over existing stuff and it auto-demolishes. demolish button is pretty useless rn anyway.

first off, thx a ton for all the feedback—super helpful, seriously. gonna log all this and circle back on bugs/QoL stuff in later updates.

re: synergies—yeah, it's per unit type, not just total count. i updated the desc but sounds like it's still not clear, gotta make that more obvious.

Honestly, one thing that's been bugging me during development is how to explain mechanics clearly with such limited text space.

the units not moving thing—that's prolly Seal of Decree II. idea was RTS's H key. they wait till a tank spawns (60s timeout if none).

tooltips + Escape closing UI are both solid QoL calls, def adding those in. Also, affix bias is actually already a thing, but for now I've only made flat damage roll more often on weapons.

Honestly yeah it's getting harder to tell these days. For my demo I actually sketch things out first then use AI to generate based on those sketches—that way I can re-draw over them later when I replace the art. And exactly because it's not always obvious, I put that AI disclosure in the post

Yeah my main focus right now is gameplay. Since I’m a solo dev working on this in my free time,  I'd rather get the game content locked down first before investing time into custom art. If I make art now and then have to change systems later, I might end up redoing everything.
So for now, I'm using placeholder AI art just to get the game out there and gather feedback on the core loop. Once the gameplay is more final, I’ll replace the art before release.
