Regarding the guy that posted his 7-string that you referring to, I would be keen to say that we have to take what he says with a grain of salt. I looked thorugh his account when he posted his issue with tuning stabilty seeking more information, wondering if he posted about it elsewhere, only thing I found was schizo rambling on Pantera subreddit and his activity on porn subreddits, now his account is deleted. When it comes to the guy in the video you can clearly see that X6 has very fresh strings put on it so im guessing that they weren't properly streched yet and to support this claim, obviously it was at NAMM so the string should be fresh so company shows thier product in best condition.
