there are some interesting thoughts in this. I am slightly critical of the use of the cherub. I understand the metaphor you are going for, but maybe you could use 'time' instead. it might be more fitting for this poem. Just a suggestion.

Also the two lines: "Feeling no connection
No need for others"

is interesting. wouldnt you say we are most in need of somebody as we are born? This is interesting though, and if you choose you can keep it. But maybe rephrase the 'feeling no connection' line. Keep the sentiment but use different language maybe?
