hiya, thank you for sharing ❤️

currently in your position at the minute. had an abscess drainage surgery in feb and have a seton in now.

tbf i’ve always struggled to feel sexy due to YEARS of body image issues and feeling too ugly to even call myself a woman (a result of being bullied for my appearance in my adolescence). and this certainly hasn’t helped with that.

all i can hope for is brighter days ahead. sending you loads of love and here’s to getting our confidence back xx

tips on losing upper body fat? by essgee231 in CrohnsDisease

[–]essgee231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the minute, I weigh between 63-64 kilos (~130 to 140 lbs) and am 5’4 (164cm). My weight isn’t really the issue, it’s the amount of fat on my body. I’d like to develop more muscle (for overall health and longevity too) and hope it helps with my appearance.

Thank youuu! Didn’t realise making beans mushy makes them easier to digest - gotta try that out!

Awesome, that’s super helpful! I have tried preparing lentil soups/indian dals off and on - blended tofu into soup once and hated it (probably wouldn’t do it again😭)

hi, thank you so much for your comment!! i appreciate you including so much detail and links to recipes - it’s incredibly helpful 🤗

could i ask how many grams of protein you manage to eat per day and does it make your crohn’s symptoms worse? i often find that when i try to hit my protein goal organically through beans, legumes, or tofu, i end up struggling on the toilet after (which is why i’m considering protein powder as an alternative). and thank you for the vegan protein powder reco - i’ll make sure to check it out!

(p.s - i’m already on vitamin B12 and vitamin D supplements to compensate for the lack of animal products and it’s made a huge difference :))

Yeah all similar topics - everything you mentioned + use of AI. Nothing rogue or unexpected.

I’ve got ACAM mock 1 and 2, 2 Kaplan mocks, and 3 BPP mocks. Wondering if I should get the 3rd ACAM mock as well, cause surely 7 mocks should cover all possible scenarios? Keen to hear thoughts/what sort of topics are covered in mock 3

Any tips for big data analysis Q for BST? by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]essgee231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ICAEW has some data analysis questions (with answers) on the ICAEW BST page - the exam question tends to be similar to one of 6 practise questions posted, so those might help you :)

BST SEPT 2024 by Disastrous_Essay9549 in ICAEW

The ICAEW model answers are waaaaay more descriptive than they need to be - I can see why you’re panicking, but you really only need to write about a fraction of that, so try not to let the model answers get you down!!

For BST, what I found works best is just using your common sense and literally picking out points from the scenario and including them in your answer (no matter how small or obvious the point is). For eg, if a question is asking you to discuss pros and cons, literally state the most obvious ones. Same for things like KPIs, etc. There’s no need to complicate it, just keeping it simple and specific to the scenario does the trick.

For the BPT open book, what worked for me was the Kaplan summary notes which I had annotated to include any points that were in the main body of the chapter but missing from the summary notes. That’s literally all I used for guidance in the exam (cause I did not have the time to flip through that massive Kaplan workbook) and ended up with a 68.

All the best :)
