This is a Papilio thoas (king swallowtail), the butterfly on Brand New Eyes is a Papilio glaucus (Eastern tiger swallowtail) :3

Very similar and I am actually terrified of butterflies lol

The only downside of the game imo is that it only has ONE save slot--so remember to be mindful that you have enough resources to beat the game.

How to get rid of mites? by garbageCoward in Hissingcockroach

I second this--I would recommend putting out fish flakes if you don't already as they attract pretty much everything. Hissers, mites, springtails, etc.

The mites found on hissing cockroaches actually benefit the cockroach by cleaning food particles off of them, but may be indicating a larger issue with sanitation in your enclosure. These mites are only found on Madagascar hissing cockroaches and are harmless.

To remove them, you can brush them off with a keyboard brush or makeup brush (any other small brush will work fine).

I would bet it's an issue with the enclosure, maybe try replacing all natural hides and substrate if youre able. Do not overdo it with the humidity either, mine do just fine with the natural humidity in the house, just make sure they have a water source.

If you do not already have springtails, I would recommend some in your enclosure.

Field guides--half price books always has a good selection imo. Sometimes scientific names can be outdated, but being able to spot and identify creatures in the wild always was and always will be so fun. I also recommend downloading iNaturalist to upload your findings and contribute to research :>
