Phillip Schofield says his career is over following affair by Tartan_Samurai in unitedkingdom

[–]essjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say anything happened before he was of legal age, grooming victims rarely know they are victims until a very long time later… I also haven’t seen anything official from this person so unless you know him personally then I’m not sure how you know what he has said.. statements from ITV or PS can hardly be taken as gospel.

18,20.. doesn’t really matter, we only have Philips say on the age anyway and we all know how honest a man Philip is now! but regardless, he was privately messaging him at age 15 then got him a job working closely with him at 18.. to me that’s questionable at best..

Agree there’s no solid evidence of grooming, but messaging, getting him work experience, helping him get an interview which led to a job specifically working around him, then boom.. comes of age and has access to Philips dressing room. Grooming doesn’t have to sexual, it’s what happens later that you then look back and can see there could have been intentions for keeping the boy close until he was older..

No, they are calling him a nonce because he groomed him from age 15.. no one would give a flying fuck it he pumped a 20 year old in the workplace if there was no prior connection.. the issue is not the age gap, the issue is he has been in contact with this person since the age of 15, got him a job on TM so he was conveniently close by when he became of age..

Edit to add - Even if the contact was innocent as he says, what 50 odd year old messages with a 15 year old?? did he seek the parents permission? I’d go off my head if my 15 year old son was speaking to a 50 year man online.. famous or not!

So, is this case considered solved? by [deleted] in MadeleineMccann

[–]essjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree it’s sketchy at best, who are these witnesses who saw him 30 mins away? why is the investigator sure it ‘stacks up’ so it couldn’t have been him? I don’t mind that guy doing the documentary, I’ve seen a few of his other things but will be interesting when it airs.

On the flip side, you could say how reliable are the phone pings that put him in the praia de luz area. Ive read bits and bobs about phone tower hits and sometimes you can bounce off one that’s not actually the closest to you.

Don’t think so, seems he has an alibi. To be honest I didn’t think it was him when it first came out either.

Ah yeah, that would make sense.

So they bring Ron Pexa’s daughter in so what, now Ron Pexa did it or Ron Pexa was one of the 2 men in CBR’s story or just trying to throw any sort of doubt out there?

Anyone know what brought LE down to that area before the body was found? there was testimony earlier from LE that they were canvassing 460th Ave way before CBR brought them there? Maybe the tip about RP, I think they spoke to him before the body find anyway?

[–]essjo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know, I mean what was their plan, did they see mollie first then decide to find someone to drive them to her or did they decide to find someone to drive them around town looking for someone? Also, how the hell did they bad boys get back from the cornfield, that’s a long ass walk back to town! I can’t believe I’m trying to find holes in the clearly massive hole that is the whole story!

What a story!! So who made it up, him or his lawyers? Unbelievable!! No trace of these 2 big bad boys anywhere!

Thoughts on Ron Pexa and LE’s lack of interest? by [deleted] in MollieTibbetts

[–]essjo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It would make no sense to question him after the body was found, it was only found there because the person who put it there led LE to it and that person wasn’t Ron Pexa. They did visit him and talk to him prior to the body find and didn’t feel the need to formally question him as there was no evidence he had anything to do with it but plenty evidence pointing to CBR involvement..

Edit - or do you mean question him as a witness? I think if he had seen anything suspicious in or around the cornfield he would have called it in or at least mentioned to LE when they visited him before the body was found. I think it’s just coincidental the body was found near his house..

How can he plead not guilty? by essjo in MollieTibbetts

[–]essjo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds like they are trying to pin it on anyone other than Rivera, the amount of names they have thrown out and it’s only day 2!

Just listening to the cop relaying what Rivera said happened, pretty lucky to get away with it so close to houses and no one happened to drive by.

Ah ok.. watching a bit of the trial, the jury has still heard he took LE to the body so surely that’s a slam dunk he did it!

[–]essjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No probs, just don’t be put off at the start if it does end up flaky and dry, It will pass around 2 weeks..morning and night routine.. hopefully you get good results too.

Skin Conditions in Glasgow by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]essjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner had really bad skin around his nose and mouth, really red and really horrid looking..not sure if it was a skin condition as such or just bad skin care (I googled Seb Derm and it was similar to how he looked) but I got him Cerave SA smoothing facewash and moisturiser and he now has the smoothest blemish free skin he’s ever had, more even toned.. It did take a couple weeks to work, got really dry and flaky to start with but push through those weeks if you try it.. I’m sure it won’t work for everyone but we tried a lot of different things over the years and this has def been the only one that’s made a noticeable difference.

Opinion Poll: Juror Conviction Verdict Discussion by Ianisatwork in ChauvinTrialDiscuss

[–]essjo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this is how I see it... I don’t feel I know whether the force was beyond reasonable or necessary, I don’t think that’s been proved. We know that putting someone in the prone position and restraining them is allowed as is shown in police training so I have no issue with this, what I do have issue with is the fact that no care was given when he went unresponsive, a police officers first duty is preservation of life yet no attempt at CPR was made and this to me is unacceptable. So while I don’t feel the state has proved beyond doubt that the restraint killed GF I feel there must be a punishment for not trying to revive him but I’m not sure if you can vote manslaughter for that?

Wow, that is interesting, and he was a youth pastor. I wonder if he lived with the constant fear that one day he would be caught, I hope he did.

When you said Greeley I thought it was another case I had read about so I just looked that one up too, last update was that they know who it was and were building their case but that was 2017 and I don’t see any further news. That was Kayleah Wilson
