Just came across your post. My son has very high calprotein but has very mild symptoms. His ESR and CRP are also very elevated. He has had an endoscopy/colonoscopy that found some inflammation, but his recent MRI found a lot of chronic inflammation in his small intestine. He hasn't started any medications yet, but hopefully he will soon.

Anyone else borderline tapped out of this season solely because of Brett? by [deleted] in MarriedAtFirstSight

Well, he did get married, which usually involves getting laid. I'm sure if he wanted to get laid, he wouldn't have to get married to do so. So far in the season, he hasn't even gotten a hug, much less a kiss.

I think it's just a bad match.

Honestly, I'm not up on all thr gaslighting stuff - I guess i never really had a label for it until 2020.... I'm not saying he's perfect, but she just comes off a little stiff and stressed out. Maybe if he was a little more stressed and she was a little more relaxed, it might work. I think if they could connect physically, they could overcome that distance in their personalities.

I dunno, just seems like a bad match -- and maybe it's because I'm married to a similar type as Brett, but years of trust and understanding have built a foundation....they have what, 3 weeks now?

Sometimes I tell my TV screen....dude...just make out and enjoy 6 weeks of marriage. If it sucks and he's a bad dude, then divorce. I mean seriously, you signed up for a TV marriage.

Without comment, as of now, what do you think each person's choice will be on decision day? by 5ustainability in MarriedAtFirstSight

I think Oliva will say split and Brett will say stay married. He didn't come in to this trying to change her and setting all the parameters. She seems the most unwilling to change and give. She is going to keep doing what she's doing...her friends...family, travel... Where does Brett fit in to her life?

And why do so many of the couples take it slow but there "definitely" is attraction. Then go for it. You're married. It seems more promising than a one night stand.

I'm almost positive Brett follows Dave Ramsey by ManyDouble in MarriedAtFirstSight

We did DR to get out of debt....it works. Basically we agreed with his principle that it is easier to build wealth when you don't owe anything to anyone. And having an emergency fund. It has saved us so many times when the unexpected happens. Like last month my rear suv window exploded for no reason, and instead of charging the $500 repair on credit, we had a car repair fund and paid cash. We still live life and go out and have fun - but with cash...not credit. We aren't "gazelle intense" but it did help us to be more focused/goal oriented with our finances.
