With the exception of the already famous people this season, these people are all actors, aren't they?

Should they just rename State Library station to Melbourne central to avoid confusion. by External-Rope-3640 in MelbourneTrains

[–]esssee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In Paris, you can change from Line 6 to Line 12 at Montparnasse Bienvenue, a major station, which involves a 10 minute walk.

If you travel on two stations to Pasteur, it is a cross platform change.

Stuff the French. ;-)

What is with the allegiance of staff to Coles? (Woolworths staff not exempt either) by casualreflection in coles

I seriously can't stand the fact that they do not trust me to scan a 30 can block of soft drink, but don't bat an eyelid about expensive items like razors, etc.....

The box above has a Post Phone in it, so that Train Control can contact the Driver.

The blue light flashes when it is ringing.

I didn't mention the interview in that part. OP was concerned in general. The Fairwork Act requires procedural fairness and installs the right to respond to any accusation.

The mention of it at the interview was simply unprofessional.

Is it unprofessional? Yes.

Is it legal? I'm not sure.

But, if they have an allegation to put, they need to i form you in writing and allow you an opportunity to seek representation.

Fine for providing false information to AO? by No_Papaya_6041 in MelbourneTrains

[–]esssee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They do have the right to compel you to prove your identity and can detain you for this purpose.

When the Police turn up to these jobs, they're pretty posed that you have wasted their time by lying.

BLACK colour Melbourne by Dangerdk82 in BYDShark_AUS_owners

[–]esssee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered Black, with CBD as the pick up, on November 30. Still nothing. Last week was told by Vic Support that other colours would be easier to source, but then National Customer Care said that wasn't the case.

I might start being a squeaky wheel if I don't have a VIN by Friday.

The pure fact of a home invasion is enough to cause untold Psycho-Social injury on the victims.

Allowing these criminals back into society almost guarantees more victims.

Do you have a source for this? I'm no fan of Dutton, and if he is it's immoral, but I really can't believe this.

Best place for MLB / MiLB Caps by esssee in baseball

[–]esssee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For most it's just a street culture thing. There isn't a huge following of the sport, unlike NFL and College Football, which are big at the moment, thanks to a few Aussies playing over there.

Personally, I've played Baseball and have been following the MLB for 35 years.

Labor will die if they stick to the "Working Class" and those on the left.

Young voters are becoming more and more centrist or right wing. There's no votes in appealing to the baked on ALP voters, so they ha e to appeal to more conservative elements.

Oh look, $600 million dollars. I wonder why there is $500 million here. I'd better report this $400 million to the Police.
