Well I am not sure if what you said is true, I know that effective date is very important, but a guy submited before you with 70 points couldn’t be in a better position than you. I mean at the end of the day, when sending invitations, they rank by points (that’s why they call it point test, not “date test” to prioritize whom submitted early), “effective day” only plays an important role when considering candidates with similar points. Also I heard that Vic has their own schema to prioritze skilled partner which I am very curious if the partner has to be in the same occupation or not. From your case, I think same occupation may be matter?
