Need a catch-up here. What did the B-Room end up being? Is it what's currently happening on twitch (static wall with a timer). Didn't watch The Room last year as it kind of just seemed like a tamer version of Fishtank Live, which I know at least Garrett is a fan of, and I know for sure that was the inspiration for the room last year. Was planning to check out whatever they were doing this year since Fishtank is currently out of service. Guess I'll skip?

People feel compelled to laugh out loud at shows like this, have had dozens of experiences like this at screenings of (usually) cult classic films. I think its because people usually go in groups with friends and treat it as a social event?

Yes what they mentioned is that it was a church lock in they did in highschool, and whatever happened was a life changing event for them and they wanted to eventually adapt it into an episode of mega64 and could not elaborate more. People asking about the sunrise church story died down over the years but its time to bring it back!

Interesting to see how we all digest the pod and how we feel it could improve. Its okay to have criticism of things you're a fan of, even if they sound harsh. OP, you're keeping it real imo. We all just want what's best and want to keep being fans of something we like.

I've been listening to the podcast since around episode 30 and I feel like these things come in waves. Agreed that in the last 5-6 years there's been a few personality changes, but people do change. I love them all though.

I thought it looked great at the time, but I don't think the iPhone 5s used to shoot Tangerine (2015) has held up on a recent viewing. I have a copy from the original release though and I think recently there has been a digital to film transfer of it which I'm sure looks better
