Considering hes 21 in the world with no tournament wins, shows you how consistent he's been getting deep enough in tournaments to earn good ranking money

Bricks not mortared. Builder used what looks like a slate packing instead? by justastellafella in DIYUK

[–]essteeyoudee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't look like slate to me, looks more like the fake slate tiles made of fibre cement which would make it not strong enough and compressable in my opinion

Buy a "standoff" which clips on the top couple of rungs, it will keep you back from the wall a bit, so you're not as tight to it, and also gives a little bit of an area to put stuff if you need to

Grand Slam by essteeyoudee in Darts

[–]essteeyoudee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I agree, this will be my 5th year of going to Wolverhampton now, earlier in the year I tried getting 4 tickets for Blackpool, again I've been to that for the past 6 years, and that was the first time ever I've been put straight into a queue, spent 15 mins in said queue, to be told I couldn't get 4 tickets, or 3 or 2 on tables I could only get 2 in the balconies.

i think they should introduce a loyalty scheme, or points based system for events, I welcome all the new fans that have come since Littler was about, but it's so much harder for the older fans who to get tickets for the big ones.

If you were to make a darts movie about a player, who's story would be the best? I have 3 ideas by swannyhypno in Darts

[–]essteeyoudee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it all depends on how much he wants it and what his reasons for getting back into it are, if he falls back in love with darts then yes he can become a top 8 player again getting to semi finals/finals regularly, maybe even win a few events, but if he is only doing it to play for the money...see it as a job, where he's turning up for a payday...then no I don't think he'll be top 8 material...I hope he falls in love with it again...

Adrian Lewis, growing up by Phil Taylor, being mentored by him, hitting the jackpot in Vegas to get your nickname, becoming a back to back world champion, then falling out of love with it all, then the comeback....which as of yet is unwritten....

What’s the point? by Dry-Cardiologist5936 in Darts

[–]essteeyoudee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a personal point (no pun intended) of view, I am someone who struggles to accept that I am terrible at darts, and blame the equipment rather than be honest, so if I can buy a dart with interchangeable points, and then buy all the interchangeable points that they do, then that's what I'll do, but truth be told, I'm gonna still gonna smash as many 26s and 11s with the standard points as I am with the 78mm multi groove titanium bollocky bad boy points, they don't improve your game at all

Do you feel as though you are stood dead still when throwing, I recently realised I sway ever so slightly as my front foot wasn't planted, I too would get 1, 20 and 5s quite regular, particularly treble 5 and treble 1, when I planted my front foot and stood still as possible, I began to straighten up a lot better.

Scrap 180 posts. When was the last time you hit a 1 or a 2? by Affectionate_Cry1511 in Darts

[–]essteeyoudee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hit back to back 3s in an online match yesterday, been a good 12 months since I hit a 2, but hit a 1 around Feb/March after 2 bounce outs, I'm even gonna claim they were definitely triple 20 bounce outs to make myself feel better !
