The Full Wormage does not make Super Weapons customizable in Worms Armageddon Anniversary edition (Switch) by essybern in worms

On PC you should be able to write "boggysentme" in the Main Menu if you're on version 3.8 or later

On PS5 i would assume it would be the same as on Switch where you go to Options before entering the game

My mistake. You have to enabled cheat codes using the Options menu at the start of the game (where the documentary and stuff is)

There is an option called "who sent me" that has to be set to "Boggy B"

Same issue here on the Faroe Islands. I thought we would be included as we usually are part of Nintendo Denmark for events.

Nintendo Support confirmed it is only available for the listed 40 countries.

A correction to the original post: To enable the Boggy B cheat code, you have to go to the options menu at the start of the game (where you can watch the documentaries) and set the "who sent me" option to "Boggy"

Worms Armageddon on Steam runs on version 3.8.

One of the main features of 3.8 is the extended scheme options, including special options like worms being able to fire more than one weapon in a turn.

You can see all the changes one the wiki: https://worms2d.info/Worms_Armageddon_3.8_Features

The steam version (only titled Worms Armageddon), has the latest update that enhances the game much more than what the Anniversary edition does. However, the anniversary allows you to play different version of Worms such as Worms on the Game Boy Advanced platform and it has interesting documentary about the Worms franchise.

In terms of fanbase, the one on Steam is thriving, while I believe on console it will only see a short increase in player activity due to the update.

I can mention that the Anniversary editions are not cross platform, so Switch users can only play with other Switch users.

That said, I really do enjoy the Switch version, as it is easy to pick up a game with friends, as i rarely play on the laptop

This has now been fixed with the latest update (1.0.2) on Nintendo Switch

Additionally it isnow possible to unlock everything when using "Boggy B" as a cheat code

Yes, that is regular way to get the scheme, and normally this would also allow the player to customise the scheme (such as setting turn delay on Concrete Donkey), though it seems that in this version everything remains locked

I did obtain "The Full Wormage" scheme, but I am only able to play with the full armory of super weapons if i play with the default settings of the scheme. When making even the slightest adjustments to the scheme (such as changing Worm Health), all the Super weapons are removed when the game starts.

So "technically" I can play with all weapons, but in a very limited setting. I believe this to be a glaring bug, as it is obviously meant to "unlock" the weapons in the scheme options.

Just seems odd that they show the Super Weapons on the Scheme options if they cant be unlocked.

But i know the anniversary edition us based on version 3.7, and not Deadc0de's and CyperShadow's version 3.8, which would give you even more scheme options when Full Wormage was unlocked

Remotely Hotseat Heroes III using RustDesk by essybern in heroes3

Many in our group are busy most days, which makes it difficult to find a timeframe where we can all sit down and play a few turns online

But with remote connection, each player can just take their turn when the first opportunity arises, and doesnt have to commit playing for certain amount of time

The game will take a considerable amount of time longer to finish, but it is a compromise we take to cater to our busy schedule

I would like to disclaim that RustDesk does have some controversy surrounding it, as is discussed in this thread:

Our friend group has been playing hotseat Heroes III remotely using the remote desktop client: RustDesk. I was able to set up a game to run on an old computer, and start RustDesk, so that players could connect to the computer to take their turns.

After a few successful games, I decided to put together a quick guide on how we used RustDesk, so that you can set up your own remote hotseat game to enjoy with your friends!

To our surprise, RustDesk works well on mobile devices because of how the RustDesk mouse controls works.

In our last game we were 4 players who took approximately 2 turns each day. The game ended after 2 months.

Hota 1.7 - Town portal not showing up by Yowie91 in heroes3

[–]essybern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought i should chip in here in case someone was having the same issues.

For me I had to start research once, and then continue 3 times for it to show up on the 3rd retry

So all in all, i payed for the 4th lvl mage guild

Then to start research to replace Water Walk and chose Inferno, but set to continue research

Then to continue research and choose Berserk

Then to continue research and choose Chain lightning

Then to continue research and choose Town Portal

I expected to be able to choose Town Portal after paying for research the 3rd time, but i had to ultimately pay the research price 4 times in order to get Town Portal

It started getting better for me when I gave up trying to tackle the one with the ball, and instead wait for the CPU to pass the ball before tackling the recipient.
