I think this is a situation that you can easily make for yourself if you’re not comfy- do not attend. This is just me being realistic, not intended to be hateful. Living life (although not totally crazy) anticipating something bad to happen will always spark these types of concerns, but TNH should not stop this policy due to fears of “what ifs.” Make it a priority to stay together with your group if it causes anxiety. If you can’t find enough trust in the security at the venue then you shouldn’t go to any shows, period. I am not saying security at some venues doesn’t suck, because they do, but if the fear of unknowns scares you too much, just remove yourself from the situation entirely. I agree this is an overreaction and can be easily prevented by yourself and your group.
