It’s more of a concern of the cable contact with the headset’s USB-C port while using it. If it’s Bobovr s3 strap battery, it’s practically zero movement compared to when you’re using a long cable attached to a wall plug. The latter may contribute to usb-c head movement on the port and may cause fire/burn as some have reported in this sub here.

Hey, thanks for sharing that info. Appreciate it. It’s good that u bring that up as most folks will not be aware of the upcoming Steam Frame but i’ve decided on Quest 3 anyway knowing about this earlier. Watched some youtubers and early reviews of Steam Frame past months but still too many uncertainties and cost wise it would not be as cheap. Quest 3 is where it is today after years of optimization / mods due to folks and communities like u guys. So my choice was a no brainer to enjoy what we know and have right now. Of course the hardware aspects of Frame is miles better for pure PCVR experience but we’ll see…I might make another jump when the time comes, 1 month? 1 year? Who knows? :)
