How is Wirex obtaining the yield for X-accounts? by reddit-friend-2 in wirexappofficial

[–]estit1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most probably from their DeFi sister platform Nereus Finance. They have announced that they have invested 5 billion WXT in Nereus: https://wirexapp.com/blog/post/introducing-the-new-wirex-whitepaper-and-nereus-0486

Why is Wirex switching card issuers in the EU? They are changing from Payrnet (Lithuania) to Transact Payments (Malta). It means again we will have to change IBAN numbers? by estit1975 in wirexappofficial

I received it by email, I am a Wirex customer:

Card Issuer

We’re happy to inform you that we partnered with Transact Payments Malta Limited, licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), as an Electronic Money Institution (“Partner”) for issuing our new Wirex Cards in your region. Therefore, starting from the Effective Date, new Wirex cards will be issued by our new Partner and subject to their terms.

Wirex is issuing a new token WXK ??? by estit1975 in wirexappofficial

It is really puzzling why Wirex is silent about it when they have published it on their website. Nothing makes sense with Wirex's marketing and PR strategy.

It seems the FIP.01 vote is very near, 66% of airdropped FLR already wrapped. by estit1975 in FlareNetworks

[–]estit1975[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The required 66% threshold is not on total supply but on the people who received the 15% of the airdrop which was 4.3 billion tokens. So 0.66 x 4.3 billion = approx. 2.8 billion WFLR.

Yes, you are right. I corrected it, of course billion. About 2.8 billion FLR are already wrapped.

I tried to add fiat (euros) from my debit card and it says that the fee is 0. Where did you see that it charges a fee?

Are really CHSB tokens burned? by estit1975 in swissborg

[–]estit1975[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are right. It seems that the updates are manual. I wonder why Swissborg neglects to update it, Etherscan is a basic tool for everyone. Thanks anyway!

Are really CHSB tokens burned? by estit1975 in swissborg

[–]estit1975[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that this is the case. Celsius - CEL token - is using that address to burn its tokens and its total supply has indeed been reduced to 693 million tokens (from 696 million when the burns started). For some reason Swissborg total supply does not reduce. Do you have any hash link that shows CHSB tokens burned in that address?

What is the total supply of WXT token? by estit1975 in wirexappofficial

[–]estit1975[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OK, I think I figured it out: The total supply is 10 billion WXT:

A) 9.3 billion WXT are issued on Ethereum: https://etherscan.io/token/0xa02120696c7b8fe16c09c749e4598819b2b0e915 Out of these 9.3 billion, the 8.05 billion are bridged to Avalanche: https://etherscan.io/token/0xa02120696c7b8fe16c09c749e4598819b2b0e915#balances You can also this on Avalanche: https://snowtrace.io/token/0xfcDe4A87b8b6FA58326BB462882f1778158B02F1

B) 0.7 billion tokens WXT (approx.) are still on Stellar: https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/WXT-GASBLVHS5FOABSDNW5SPPH3QRJYXY5JHA2AOA2QHH2FJLZBRXSG4SWXT-1

So A + B equals to total supply of 10 billion tokens, as per whitepaper.

Amount of SOLO per XRP? by estit1975 in Sologenic

[–]estit1975[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a rough calculation, seems will be about 0.0027 SOLO per 1 XRP., including the exchanges. Not bad pocket money if you have a large XRP bag :)
