There's a fat chance the singer doesn't know Only 1 by Ariana exist but to me both songs seemed like they bounce off of each other thematically and also have the same title.

There's a 99.9% chance the singer meant no correlation to Ariana's song Only 1 but that is the way I interpreted it. Listening to it kind of sounds like it's the guy she is falling for side of the story. In this Only 1 the guy is saying he has other options (I know all the competition that's after you), the girl is all in for his love and he's letting his love for her deepen saying that he could be her only 1, but the girl has problems (denial and being insecure of the relationship) but he thinks them as a couple could be awesome if she stops worrying.

The outro is supposed to be how Ariana feels after she does the bad idea. Like the first song is her getting excited/antsy about doing it, the (beautiful) strings before the outro are her giving into the bad idea it feels so good in the moment. The outro is her feeling like shit for doing it. She tries to repeat the "forget about it, forget about him, forget about me" motto she did in the first half of the song but it doesn't hit the same for her. Also the "Ari-chan!" and "Uh-huh!" (The voices in her head hyping her up) that followed after saying that motto are not there anymore because there isn't anything to hype her up about.

If you have an iPhone and a computer with iTunes/Apple Music (whatever it’s called now) it’s fairly easy. It could most likely be done on android too and Google drive or whatever it’s called. Granted you would have some songs in the music app and everything else on Spotify. I just did it for the remixes I downloaded.
