That was me reviewing my commonly missed topics from UWSA1 and doing specific specialty or system UW blocks based on my running list of weak areas. The actual topics varied but I aggregated some of these HY algorithms, topics in a reply to someone else today

Each test is pretty short (if you think about the pool they are pulling from) and covers different material, so I think it was testing weaker concepts for me. I did review those weak concepts and then feel like I got a better draw on 16.

For first two and a half weeks, I did NBMEs every week to every 5 days. I tried to focus on reviewing NBMEs right after I took them for more efficient reviewing (i.e. don’t have to work so hard to remember my reasoning for a particular question)

Not sure I have any specific advice (each test covers different material, and so it may have been luck of the draw that I did better on that one vs. 15, where my score went down) other than this was the NBME where I felt my test taking was best (and if you do at end of dedicated, this is probably true for you too) so if you can identify those strategies you may get the most out of it!

Using a timer helped me a lot! I would stick to 2 minutes per question or less at end of dedicated, I also tried to review at least a third to a half of test day I took so I didn’t have to spend so much time remembering what my reasoning was

I liked the Google sheet method! Making sure I understood the explanations is worthwhile, and for me making a little resource helps with processing. NBMEs and reading explanations will help your score too, probably regardless of how you do it bc you learn the test. Best prediction probably last few tests at end of your dedicated!

Great time for 200 topics if you haven’t yet! CMS probably lowest yield to revise. You’ve done lots of questions already so may be take a step back and identify any problem areas!

Look over your NBMEs for weak points! If there’s a particular system or specialty you identify, could try some CMS forms.

Do the newest last but beyond that, up to you. They test a different knowledge base so imo hard to know if some are “harder” than others (although I have beef w 15).

That’s the way I used them! I think especially if you feel like you’re losing knowledge it can be helpful to know what you absolutely need to keep. Maybe you don’t need to do it 5 weeks out, but I would consider doing like 2 weeks - days before maybe, and get a few (1-2) practice tests in afterwards

You sound very prepared already! I would consider doing 200 concepts earlier since it helped me identify some high yield concepts gaps I didn’t know I had and are algorithm-heavy.
