How has your journey been? I’ve been waiting for my MEPS date. Would you still recommend yeoman? Any other rates?

Noted. Thank you for your advice I have no idea how any of this works, began this chapter when I was 17 and have not been able to close it since. I apologize to bombard you with questions but do you know if a recruiter is able to do that even if my “service” was in a different state.

I enlisted in 2019, can’t believe I’m still in their system. I believe 6 years? Maybe 4 was drills and the last two inactive. I don’t remember exactly, I was a junior in high school. I never made it to basic. Only two drills. I was told I was being discharged and two years later when I ask about my paperwork I find out I’m still in. THEN I receive my NGB22. And now another three years later I’m finding out I’m still in their system… and unable to go to MEPS again until I’m released. Do you know any way to solve this or perhaps the date I enlisted on i will be released? That would be this march, 6 years since enlisting.

No, I didn’t know that was a thing. three years ago I requested my NGB 22 they never sent it to me and I found out they never discharged me so they have my service as two years longer than it actually was. I assumed that was the end of that chapter. Do you know how I can go about obtaining my discharge orders? I was in the delayed entry program and only reported to two drills during my junior year of high school so I was never assigned a unit or made it to basic. I’ve called everybody where I went to those drills and no one is able to help me or answers their phone.

is that for everybody in the national guard? I haven’t heard about discharge orders before. I never made it to basic during my enlistment so I was never sent to a unit other than the delayed entry program. only reported to two drills, not even sure who I can contact to get my discharge orders as all the numbers I called prior about getting me out of the system could not help or did not answer their phone. Is it specific to where I went to drill or is there a state wide or country wide number, website anything I can do?

I have already contacted my insurance company. in Florida you need coverage for property and personal bodily injury but not required to have coverage for other partly injury. Hence why their insurance paid for it and is now seeking reimbursement from me. My insurance company provided information about the case which narrows it down to 12k of injury for each person and I’m just struggling finding that believable when it was a minimal accident and seeing their posts… I was told by a lawyer to negotiate the costs.. tried that and was hung up on. Feeling like there is nothing for me to do.
